Overall: Placement: IIIT Nagpur is a new college but still as per the latest placement data the highest package is around 95 LPA but this package is out campus and also the average is about 14.4 LPA. Infrastructure: The infrastructure here merely comprises of just a Academic, a Administrative, a Residential Hostel and a Guest House. There is a small garden also but the overall Infrastructure is underdeveloped and in develop[ing phase. Recently, a tender passed for making a ground in IIIT Campus. Faculty: Some of the faculties are pretty good and Helpful. As this is a new college there is also some inexperienced teacher, but the over all faculty is good. Others: Our College regularly organised fest two most awaited fests are Tantra-fiesta(Technical Fest) and Abhivyakti (Cultural Fest). The college experience is great here.
Faculty: The faculties here are very helpful and good. Most of them has a very good experience of how to handle student in Technical field. Some of them are very inexperienced they have very poor teaching skill but they make efforts a lot.
Overall: I've spent a year as a student at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur, IIIT Nagpur is a relatively new institute. Still, it's making a name for itself in the competitive Indian tech education scene.
Faculty: I've been impressed by most of my professors. They have strong academic backgrounds and understand real-world applications. A few might be less experienced in teaching, but overall they're committed and approachable for extra help outside of class.
Overall: IIIT Nagpur faces challenges in infrastructure and accessibility, which impact its overall appeal. The campus comprises only one academic building and hostel, unable to accommodate all students, leading many to live off-campus. Located 20 kilometers from Nagpur city, it lacks easy access and transportation, requiring a lengthy commute from the main highway. While some teachers demonstrate dedication, most are locals, potentially limiting diversity in perspectives. Despite these hurdles, IIIT Nagpur offers promising placements, albeit affected by economic downturns, with an average package of 12 lakhs. However, the high fees of nearly 16 lakhs for four years(including hostel)pose a financial burden, compounded by the absence of institute scholarships In summary, IIIT Nagpur shows potential academically and in placements, but its infrastructure and high fees hinder accessibility and student experience. Efforts to improve facilities, reduce costs, and offer scholarships would enhance its appeal and competitiveness among students.
Faculty: The faculty at IIIT Nagpur comprises PhD-qualified professionals, yet some exhibit shortcomings in teaching skills. While a portion enforce assignment rigor, others adopt a more cooperative approach. Balancing expertise with pedagogical effectiveness remains pivotal for enhancing the overall learning experience.
Overall: The Student mainly focus on placement for them the college placements are good with 14 Lpa average package.college infrastructure is developing i will mention more about in infrastructure section. The coading culture of our college is very good.Students from first year try competitive programming in codechef and codeforces. The secdule of the college is hectic. Syllabus is tough and in more detail compared to Nits. There is no chemistry in first year. You will focus on your core subjects from 1st year electronics and computer related subjects.Clubs of college are new but becoming active day by day.
Faculty: IIIT Nagpur boasts excellent facilities and a highly qualified faculty. With experienced professors holding PhDs, students benefit from their expertise and guidance. The small class size, with approximately 60 students, fosters a conducive learning environment where communication with teachers is seamless. This intimate setting allows for personalized attention and easy interaction with faculty members. Moreover, the faculty's proficiency in both Hindi and English ensures that students from diverse linguistic backgrounds feel comfortable in expressing themselves and understanding concepts effectively. This bilingual approach enhances the overall learning experience and facilitates clearer communication between students and teachers. Overall, IIIT Nagpur's faculty stands out for its professionalism, expertise, and dedication to student success, making it a valuable academic institution for aspiring learners.
Overall: So , I am a first year student of IIIT NAGPUR, so as usual noone loves their college but there are some pros and cons of this college so what are they . Pros : As a new iiit , it has its own campus with area of 110 acres , but sadly only four buildings are there but these buildings are well equipped. Let's come to the lab facilities, all labs are well equipped with high end pc's and instruments. All classes are built with Ac fitted in it . The faculties are supportive not too much but they are . Packages are also good like median package of both cse and ece is above 13 lacs. Cons : Due to only one building for hostel having 10 floors. The lac of rooms are there so you have to stay outside of college. The peer pressure is too much in this college everyone is busy in competing with each other, you will get a good coding culture but the competition is very high and you have to compete with everyone. And The major problem is exam , the are 3 sets of exam held per semester , means every month you have to give a set of exam , so there is very less time to learn skill , but there are lot of opportunities to learn skills. But there are many cultural activities and programs held here . But nagpur has very hot weather. And here's a most important thing so guys are thinking about the sex ratio of this college, so the ratio is not that good in this college like my batch has 59 students and there are only 6 girls
