The average package for B.Tech students was Rs 52.8 LPA, with a median package of Rs 40.7 LPA. In M.Tech, 387 students registered, of which 247 were placed, resulting in a placement rate of 84.40%. The average package for M.Tech students at IIT Kanpur was Rs 28 LPA, with a median package of Rs 27.5 LPA.
