Merit-cum- means scholarship for professional and technical courses | The student should have secured at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the previous final examinations. The annual income of the student’s family should not be more than Rs. 2.50 lakh. | Scholarship fee worth Rs. 20,000 per year. Maintenance allowance of Rs. 1,000 to hostellers and Rs. 500 to day scholars, given every month. |
National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students | The student should belong to the category of a Scheduled Tribe. The student should have completed his/her post graduation and must be taking admission in research programmes. The family annual income of the student should not be more than Rs. 6 lakhs. | The tuition fee and other non refundable payments of the student shall be reimbursed. The student will be given Rs. 3,000 per year for the expenses of books and stationery. Living expenses worth Rs. 2,200 per month will be given to the student. One time assistance of Rs. 45,000 will be given for the purchase of a laptop and its accessories. |
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC Students | The student should belong to the Scheduled Caste category. The student should have taken admission in a full time course in any institute that gives this scholarship. The annual family income of the student should not be more than Rs. 6 lakhs. | |
Scholarships for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities | The student should have 40 percent disability from any of the following diseases Blindness Leprosy-cured person Low Vision Hearing Impairment Mental Illness Intellectual Disability Locomotor Disability Cerebral Palsy Autism Spectrum Disorder Muscular Dystrophy Haemophilia Multiple Sclerosis Chronic Neurological Conditions Speech and Language Disability Specific Learning Disabilities Thalassemia Multiple Disabilities including Deaf Blindness Sickle Cell Disease Parkinson’s Disease Acid Attack Victim Dwarfism | The student’s tuition fee and the non refundable payments will be reimbursed upto Rs. 2 lakhs annually. One time grant of Rs. 30,000 will be given to the student for purchasing a laptop and its devices. Book grant of Rs. 5,000 will be given annually. Special allowances worth Rs. 2,000 will be given monthly. Maintenance allowance of Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 1,500 will be given to hostellers and day scholars respectively per month. |
