Overall: Experience of mine in this college was good.I've got some good friends some well.Qualified teachers who motivated us and helped us in each and every step
Placement: If I talk about placement facility given by this institute.I can say that it is very average. Not all the student got placed , only thirty to forty percent of the student got placed every year , which is very bad
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastruc7ture of our institute I can say that buildings were creatively made.It was restricted for outsiders to enter into the institute and yes playing area and libraries and cultural activities area over there
Faculty: Best part of this institute is that faculties who are working here are really well qualified.Well knowledgeable and headstudents and motivate students eating each and every step of their college life
Hostel: Best part of hostel is that Clealiness This is maintained by staff.Staff is really good food.Served here was of nice quality. It was restricted to outsiders to enter into the hostel area
Placement: I heard that Indian institute of science Bangalore has India's highest package in field of research study and also there is also a course in btech in mathematics and computing which has equivalent package to IITs and even nits
Infrastructure: It's main building is just the mainly main motivation for almost all of this University aspirants and I just can't describe it's too awesome and facilities here are just amazing
Faculty: They are just too good in their field of teaching as there almost all faculty are teaching and doing their research oriented work simultaneously basically for the research oriented course
Hostel: I don't know much about this but heard it's too good world class facility but there is both facilities of vegetarian and non-vegetarian students and just everything wow!
Overall: Quality of placement is average. 40 % percentage of student were placed approx. 4-5 lac highest salary package offered. average salary they offered 2.5 -3.5lac per annum. yes placement process easy and pleasant to me and they are supportive
Infrastructure: colleges provide basic amenities .They provide all facility which is necessary for every student such as library ,classroom, lab etc. but only problem is that canteen and classroom need to more improvement. Internet connection is very bad (network problem). they have to take action regarding cleanliness in canteen area.
Overall: This college is already well known for it's reputation. The college atmosphere is more serious compared to IIT since greater number of Masters and PhD students. I think I don't need to say anything about academic part. The food is great, better than all IIT. You can choose your mess based on the region of India you come from. Hostels are decent. Campus is great.
Placement: A major portion of the students don't look up to placements since they join foreign universities for higher studies. Although placements are great and major companies come to have the cream of the country.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best in India you can find. Every type of labs and workplaces. New infra are also being built. Also has the best library with huge collection of books and journals.
Faculty: You know the best professors of India come to IISc. They will be better than any other colleges. On a key note, good in research does not imply good at teaching. So in some courses you might get a good researcher as your prof but he might not be that good at teaching. But don't worry as there will be your nerdy friends to help you out.
Hostel: The undergraduate students get decent hostels. The best hostels are given to the PhD and Masters students. New hostels are being built, after which I think the hostel problem will be resolved. Also the institute increased intake in recent years, so there is a bit of lack of accommodation. So small personal rooms are being shared by two persons, which is not the worse but is pretty bad.
Overall: Good so better of the this college dheko everyone use this opportunity to avoid your problems and so better the this website of college dheko please all of use this opportunity
Overall: All the professors at IISC, Bangalore are more than willing to help if you have doubts regarding a question or a potential hypothesis. And there are courses catering to specific topics like microscopy, NMR, protein sequencing which include both theory and practicals.
Overall: One thing is for sure, IISc is a great place for learning - advanced facilities in equipment in all fields of research, great journals Library, provision to take an elective course in any department ( as Electrical Engg student, I took 50% of courses in Chemistry, Physics, ECE, Instrumentation, & Management depts for my specialization on LEDs), and possibility for cross-disciplinary research pursuits.
Overall: IISc is a temple of science. Studying on this campus is a great opportunity. We get exposure to all disciplines of science and mild exposure to Humanities. I DON'T agree with what others feel about IISc making it sound like a nonsense course. In fact, the course does not focus on a single subject but rather takes an interdisciplinary approach to the sciences. I feel that this approach is crucial nowadays as the various disciplines of science do not have a clear-cut boundary. This is the 21st century and just studying one discipline of science won't do any good to you. A bit of everything is always better.
Overall: You have a lot of extra-curricular activities that you can take part in. Almost every sport, cultural activity, etc have clubs which you can join. You can start learning instruments, you can volunteer to teach children, etc. It has been an amazing 2 months for me here. Classes like humanities provide us a platform to interact with eminent people and put forth our opinions and debate about them, like for example the ethics of science and stuff. There are absolutely zero raggings on the campus. The seniors have been great, have become great friends, and help whenever needed.
