Given that the paper can be easy, moderate, or tough, the expected marks to achieve for each type to secure 88 percentile are stated here. As per our estimate, candidates must aim to get 53+ marks, 40+ marks, and 24+ in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, respectively to get 88 percentile. 

97 Percentile in JEE Mains January 2025: Our exam experts after a detailed past year’s trends analysis have computed expected marks for 97 Percentile in JEE Main January 2025. As per the analysis, to attain 97 percentile in Session 1, candidates shall anticipate 176.3+ marks for easy paper, 144.7+ for moderate paper, and 126+ for tough paper. Each subject in JEE Main Session 1 comprises 100 marks each. Therefore, the expected marks for 97 percentile in Physics shall be 77+ marks, for Chemistry above 59+ marks, and 49+ marks for Mathematics.
