NIT Surathkal Latest Updates
Several departments have released lists of candidates shortlisted for the written test and interview sessions for the Ph.D. programmes for the 2024-25 Winter Session.
Candidates have been shortlisted for the upcoming M.Tech(R)/Ph.D. admission process for the winter session 2024-25.
The list of shortlisted candidates for the M.Tech.(Research) and Ph.D. programmes for the academic year 2024-25 Winter Session has been published, including various departments such as Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemistry, and more.
IIT Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 timetable on their official website (gate2025.iitr.ac.in). The exam will be held in two sessions over the weekends from February 1 to 16, 2025. The morning session will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session will be scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
IIT Roorkee has opened the facility to add a secondary GATE 2025 test paper. Registration for GATE 2025 is closed, but candidates can still add a paper.
About NIT Surathkal
NIT Surathkal was established as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) in the year 1960 which was upgraded as the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in the year 2002. The institute has emerged as one of the most eminent engineering and technological institutes in Karnataka. NIT Surathkal is one of the top engineering colleges of Karnataka situated in Mangalore district beside the Arabian Sea on the western coast of the country. It is an autonomous institute and is approved by AICTE for conducting technical education. There are many academic and extracurricular facilities at NIT Surathkal. As per the NIRF Ranking 2024, NIT Surathkal has secured the 12th position in the engineering category.
The college offers various UG and PG courses. NIT Surathkal courses range in disciplines such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc and MBA. The admission to the courses is purely subject to the eligibility criteria and the performance in common entrance tests taken in respective fields.
The location of NITK Surathkal is easily accessible by road, railway, and air. The nearest railway station is Surathkal which is situated at a distance of 4 kilometres away from the campus. NIT Surathkal courses are offered at UG, PG, and doctoral-levels. There are a total of 6 courses offered by the institute in engineering, management, and science stream.
