Jesus and Mary College Admission

For undergraduate admissions, JMC will accept the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET).

For PG admissions, the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) will be conducted.

The CUET UG Result 2022 has been announced on September 16, 2022.

The DUET PG exam will be conducted in the month of October.

Now that the CUET result has been announced, Jesus and Mary College will prepare its own merit list and counselling schedule. Students need to register themselves on the CSAS portal and the college portal for the further process. Below are the details of the admission process based on the CUET result:

  • The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) is being implemented in 3 phases.
  • Applying to DU is the first phase of admission.
  • Selection of the preferred colleges and courses combinations by students is the second phase.
  • The third phase will be the allotment of seats.
  • Aspiring students must note that the admissions will be based on the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” as mentioned on the CUET Result 2022 scorecards.
  • The university will auto-calculate the subject-based merit scores of students with respect to the eligibility criteria.
  • The second phase of CSAS will take place from September 26, 2022, to October 10, 2022. In this phase, students need to choose the combinations of programmes and colleges.
  • To avoid problems during seat allotment, CUET Samarth has advised students to fill in as many preferences of colleges and courses as possible.
  • Both the phases of the Common Seat Allocation System, that is, phase 1 and phase 2 of CSAS DU will be open till October 10, 2022.
  • After the completion of the preference-filling phase of CSAS 2022, allotment of seats will be done on a tentative basis.
  • Students will be allotted seats based on their scores, and they will have to accept or reject the seats to take the process forward.
  • There will also be a provision of a two-day window which will allow students to reorder their college and course preferences.
  • A Mid-Entry window will also open after the second phase. This will be a one-time window as of now, but Delhi University may reopen it if many mid-entry requests come in.
  • Students must accept their seats within the mentioned deadlines. If they fail to do so, it will be considered a “Decline” from the student’s end and the seat will be allotted to another student.
  • The date of the first list of admissions will be declared by October 10, 2022.
