For undergraduate admissions, JMC will accept the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET).
For PG admissions, the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) will be conducted.
The CUET UG Result 2022 has been announced on September 16, 2022.
The DUET PG exam will be conducted in the month of October.
Now that the CUET result has been announced, Jesus and Mary College will prepare its own merit list and counselling schedule. Students need to register themselves on the CSAS portal and the college portal for the further process. Below are the details of the admission process based on the CUET result:
Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi admissions are done for various courses in Arts, Science, Commerce stream at the undergraduate level. All the candidates willing to apply for admission into Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi must note that the college only accepts Jesus and Mary College online admission forms and the admission to the undergraduate courses will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The primary eligibility criteria that the students require is to have passed the class 12th board examination with minimum 65% marks either by CBSE or any other recognized board of education. Apart from this, the final percentage will be calculated after considering the Best Four subject percentage which includes English and the other three subjects. The percentage calculated should not be less than 70%. However, the candidates will also have to check the cut-off lists that are released by the college for the programs before applying. The candidate will need to meet the criteria set by the cut-off lists that are released for the year of admission in order to be shortlisted for further admission processes.
The candidates who wish to apply for the Jesus and Mary College will have to first register themselves with the University of Delhi through Online Portal. After that, the candidates have to fill up all the details that they have asked by the college. Then the candidates need to pay the registration fee. And once the candidates have registered themselves with the college, they will have to wait for the cut-off lists to be released by Jesus and Mary College. The admissions to all UG programs at Jesus and Mary College will be done on the basis of the cut-off like any other DU Colleges. Therefore, it is mandatory for the candidates to meet the cut-off criteria for the program of their choice before applying for the program.

The candidates who are interested in taking admission in the PG program at the Jesus and Mary College will have to follow the University of Delhi postgraduate admission 2021. Candidates can apply for admission through direct admission based on their merit or entrance test. Candidates who wish to be admitted based on their merits must have secured minimum criteria mentioned for the program. And the student should graduate from any of the schools associated with Delhi University. The candidate who meets these criteria is eligible to take admission via merit. Rest of the candidates who wish to take admission in JMC will need to take the entrance test of the University of Delhi. For both the methods, the candidates will first be required to meet the minimum requirement of the program.
M.A. in English
Eligibility for Entrance Category
Candidates should have secured 45% (40.5% for OBC)marks in B.A in English from the University of Delhi. Or a passed bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for OBC) from any recognized university.
Eligibility for Merit Category
Candidates should have secured 60% (54% for OBC) marks in B.A honors in English from the University of Delhi.
M.A. in Hindi
Eligibility for Entrance Category
Candidates should have secured 40% marks in B.A Honours in Hindi from the University of Delhi. Or 45% marks in B.A./ B.Com. and 50% marks in Hindi or equivalent grade from any recognized university.
Eligibility for Merit Category
Candidates should have secured 65% (58.5% for OBC) marks in B.A honours in Hindi from University of Delhi.
The candidates who are interested in the postgraduate courses in JMC need to complete the application process for Jesus and Mary College PG admissions 2021. The first step is to register themselves at the University of Delhi and fill all the details asked by the college. At the time application, the candidates are also required to upload various documents like photograph, signature, identity proof, etc. Once all the documents have been uploaded, the candidate will need to click on “Submit My Profile” to submit the application form. At the time of submitting the application form, the candidates are to select the admission criteria such as Merit-Based, Entrance Test Based or both Merit and Entrance Test. After the candidate needs to pay the registration fee for completion of the application form.
The selection process of postgraduate program of Jesus and Mary College will be done as per the requirements of the program itself. In Jesus and Mary College, the admission is done in two ways Merit & Entrance. If the applicant has selected via entrance then they need to appear for the entrance test on scheduled date and time. Depending upon the course the candidates will be called personal interview & group discussion as the part of the selection. Failure to not appear in the entrance test will automatically cancel the admission of the candidates.
