Candidates who wish to participate in the KMV Jalandhar application process in 2024 must complete an entry form, which may be completed either online or in person. Candidates who want to take up the  KMV Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate score in any stream. For BA (Hons.) English, candidates must also have scored 50% marks in English.  

Applicants seeking admission to the Kanya Maha Vidyalaya B.Com course must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Must have passed 10+2 with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. 
• Candidates who have passed any other examination recognised by Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar may also apply for the programme.
• The authorities, for KMV Jalandhar B.Com admission, shall offer 5% relaxation in marks obtained in the qualifying exam to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories as per GNDU norms.

Candidates interested in the BBA/BCA programme offered at KMV, Jalandhar must have passed 10+2 with not less than 40% marks in aggregate from a recognised board. Those who have cleared any equivalent examination as per GNDU norms may also apply for the course.

KMV Jalandhar B.Sc admission is offered for a number of specialisations under B.Sc such as Economics, Agriculture, Biotechnology-Professional, Physics, Mathematics, etc. Candidates willing to take up the B.Sc programme must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Must have passed 10+2 in the relevant stream with at least 40% marks in aggregate from a recognised board.
• For B.Sc in Agriculture/Physics/Mathematics, the minimum aggregate score in the qualifying exam is 50%.

• Must have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream from the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) or any equivalent board.

All the M.Sc course at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, students must satisfy the eligibility criteria given below:

• Must have passed B.Sc under the 10+2+3 system with the specialisation as the major or one of the elective subjects from a recognised university.
• Must have scored not less than 50% marks in aggregate from GNDU or any other equivalent university.
• For M.Sc in Fashion Designing and Merchandising, candidates must have passed BA in Fashion Designing and Garment Construction/Home Science/B.Sc in Home Science/B.Des in Fashion Design/B.Sc in Fashion Design or PG Diploma in Dress Designing and Tailoring/PG Diploma in Fashion Designing/BA with Fashion Designing as an add-on course under the 10+2+3 system with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Candidates applying for the KMV Jalandhar M.Voc admission must have completed graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Applicants seeking KMV Jalandhar PG Diploma Admission to one-year postgraduate diploma programmes may apply for the same only if they fulfil the eligibility criteria:

• A graduate in a relevant stream from a recognised university.
• A student who has scored not less than 45% marks in aggregate in graduation.
• For PGD in Translation, candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in Hindi or English from GNDU or any other recognised university.
