About Kanya Maha Vidyalaya
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya was founded in northern India in 1886 as a women's education centre. The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Human Resource and Development have acknowledged and recognised KMV Jalandhar and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has re-accredited it with an "A" grade (MHRD).
