Scholarship on Merit 

• 50% scholarship is awarded to students who scored a minimum of 90% and above in 10th/10+2/UG/PG.
• 25% scholarship is awarded to students who scored a minimum of 80% - 89% in 10th/10+2/UG/PG.
• 10% scholarship is awarded to students who score 70% - 79% in 10th/10+2/UG/PG.

Kisan Martyr Policy 

• 100% scholarship is awarded throughout the course to the children of farmer martyrs.

COVID-19 Relief Policy 2021-2023

• 100% scholarship is awarded throughout the course to the children of corona warrior martyrs. 
• A 50% scholarship is awarded throughout the course to the children of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus. 
• A special scholarship of 1000 INR is awarded to students who got the COVID vaccination.

BFGI Scholarship Policy 

• 100% academic fee scholarship awarded to students who scored 95% - 100% in BFGI SET.
• 100% 1st-year academic fee scholarship awarded to students who scored 90% - 94%.
• 100% 1st-semester academic fee scholarship awarded to students who scored 80% - 89%.
• 50% 1st-semester academic fees scholarship awarded to students who scored 70% - 79%. 
• 25% 1st-semester academic fees scholarship awarded to students who scored 65% - 69%.

Special Scholarships 

• 25% of academic fees throughout the course are awarded to the children of Baba Farid Group of Institutions employees. 
• 20% of academic fees are awarded to the children of principals of secondary schools or colleges throughout the course.
• 20% of academic fees throughout the course are awarded to the children of press reporters. 
• 10% of academic fees throughout the course are awarded to a single girl child in the family. 
• 20% of first-semester academic fees scholarships for defense personnel or ex-servicemen children.

Scholarships for Academic Achievers 

• 100% academic fees of the subsequent semester to students who secured first positions in the university merit list. 
• 50% academic fees of the subsequent semester to students who secured 2nd/3rd/4th positions in the university merit list.
• 20% academic fees for the subsequent semester to students who secured 6th - 10th positions on the university merit list.

Scholarships for Cultural and Sports Achievers

• 50% of 1st-semester academic fees for position holders at national or inter-university levels.
• 25% of 1st-semester academic fees for position holders at the state or university levels.

Baba Farid Group of Institutions Application Fees

An application fee of 500 INR applies to all new admission candidates.

The application form for BFGI Bathinda is available on the institute’s official website. 

• The candidate has to fill in basic details about themselves such as full name, email address, mobile number, location, and more. 
• Then, the candidate has to pay an application fee of INR 500 before proceeding to the next step. 
• Upload the required documents such as a photocopy of a 10+2 certificate, passport-sized photographs, Aadhar Card, etc., to the website portal.

The Baba Farid Group of Institutions Scholarship Eligibility Test 2023 (BFGI-SET 2023) is an entrance exam conducted by the institute for candidates to get admission in all undergraduate courses. The eligibility criteria for the examination is that the candidate must either be pursuing or have completed 10+2. Meritorious candidates are awarded scholarships up to INR 4 Lakhs. The syllabus of the UG and Polytechnic programs includes General Knowledge, English, and Reasoning.

• Baba Farid Group of Institutions organized a National Workshop on ‘Recent Advances in Natural Radionuclides and Multifunctional Materials’ (RANRAMM-2021) in association with the Nuclear Track Society of India (NTSI) and Material Research Society of India (MRSI).
• The MBA and M. Com department (BFCMT) organized a knowledge sharing session, “Monday with an Entrepreneur,” with Ms. Mandeep Kaur Sidhu for the 1st and 2nd-year students. 

• BFCET became the overall champion of the two-day youth festival ‘Mehak Mitti Di’ organized by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (M.R.S.PTU), Bathinda. The BFCET students won 11 gold medals and 6 silver medals. 
• The institute recieved the third position in Zonal Youth Festival 2017 of Punjabi University, Patiala. BFC won a trophy in the dance competition as well.
• Baba Farid Group of Institutions bagged the 2nd position in the Interzonal Youth fest held at Punjabi University, Patiala.
