KC Law College courses include one undergraduate and one postgraduate law programme, namely B.A LLB and LLB, respectively. Established by the K.C. Educational Society in 2003, the college ensures that law students achieve their goals for which the highest level of legal education is maintained. The KC Law College Jammu is affiliated to the University of Jammu and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The KC Law College course admissions are based on the candidate's academic merit from their most recent qualifying examination as well as valid entrance exam scores. The entrance exam accepted for admission to both the courses is JUET Entrance Test. It is conducted by the university itself. 67% of the total number of available seats will be filled on the basis of open merit. After 67% of candidates are chosen on the basis of open merit, the remaining 33% of seats will be filled among eligible candidates from reserved categories. The final selection will be determined by following the rules prescribed by the University of Jammu. The application process is completely online. The Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws is a five-year-long undergraduate course, with an intake of 80 students. The KC Law College Jammu fee structure for B.A LLB is Rs 5 lakh for five years.
The Bachelor of Laws course is a three-year-long professional degree programme with an intake of 80 students. The KC Law College Jammu fees structure for LLB is Rs 2.25 lakh for three years.
The college offers hostel accommodation for both male and female students off campus, within walking distance. The hostels are well maintained and rooms are provided on a sharing basis. Basic amenities like a bed, desk, chair, cupboard, water purifier, washroom, etc are provided. The KC Law College hostel fees are around Rs 15,000 approximately. Candidates can also opt for PGs nearby which could be availed at a much lower price rate, of Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 per month. The overall external expense will be around Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000 approximately. The campus is beautiful that spans 8 Kanals of land. There is also a computer laboratory and an institutional library on the campus.
The candidates have to pay the fees using the offline fee payment mode by using a demand draft (DD). For the candidates first have to make a Demand Draft of the required amount payable to the Chairman, K.C Educational Society at Jammu. Then after that, the demand draft has to be sent to the Principal, by registered post or delivered personally, by visiting the college campus’ office.
