Established in 1992, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University (KIIT) in Bhubaneshwar is one of the foremost prestigious universities in India. The University attained the status of a University within just seven years of its establishment under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2004. KIIT Bhubaneswar is famous for its excellent academic achievements in such a short time period. The KIIT University has been ranked 20th according to the NIRF India Rankings 2022 among all the Public & Private Universities in India. Improving from its 21st position last year, the different schools of KIIT-DU performed well in the NIRF Rankings. This improvement in its ranking from last year indicates its sheer focus on delivering excellent education quality.
KIIT Bhubaneswar offers academic facilities to around 27,000 students, and the university offers a few hundred programs in a variety of fields, including Technology, Management, and Medicine. NAAC has awarded KIIT, Bhubaneshwar, with an 'A' grade. The University has also been ranked 201+ Globally for University by Times education Impact Rankings. KIIT is a multi-campus university. The BBA+MBA Integrated course is not available at KIIT University. It offers full-time MBA and full-time BBA courses. To be eligible for the BBA course, you must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the 10th and 12th examinations and a valid score in the UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) conducted by the All India Management Association.
