WBJEE 2025 Ranking Methodology
Based on the subjects/ papers attempted in WBJEE 2025, the admission authority shall prepare a Merit Rank list by considering the score obtained by the candidates in the WBJEE examination. The General Merit Rank will be allocated to the candidates as per the following method –
The General Merit Rank (GMR) will be allocated to candidates based on his/ her score in WBJEE Paper – I & II together.
The admission authority shall do the ranking in descending order of the overall score secured by candidates in all subjects.
Apart from the GMR merit position, a separate merit position will be allocated for a specific category of students. For example, SC Rank, OBC-B Rank, TFW Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A-Rank, etc.
