Kohima College Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

Kohima College can boast of having one of the most well stocked libraries in the capital. There are over 17000 texts and reference books covering all academic subjects. National and international magazines, journals and local and national dailies are subscribed regularly adding to the volume of the library. It is also connected with Inflibnet/ Delnet facilities. The College is also linked to a national educational satellite network with an EDUSAT enabled room for lectures delivered via satellite cum Computer Room with printers, fax machine, and internet facility. The upgraded Library with internet facility remains open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.A 50 bedded girl’s hostel is available, equipped with all modern facilities. Another proposal for a 200 bedded hostels for girls and boys have been put up to the government. a) Occupancy Single and double occupancy rooms are both available. Furniture includes study tables, chairs and cloth racks for each occupant. b) Rooms in the hostel There is a common visitor lounge, common kitchen and dining hall, toilets and bathing room. All together there are 28 rooms in the girl’s hostel building. The hostel also has a recreational hall which can be used for other activities such as post dinner talk, prayer meetings, quiz competitions which are a part of the hostel activities.
