Advertisement for the Post of Research Fellow - Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DBT-BUILDER-Lady Brabourne College Interdisciplinary Life Science Programme for Advance Research and Education. The post is also open for a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) if any such candidates are available with the requisite eligibility criteria. The project titled 'Spatiotemporal mapping, molecular typing and bioprospecting of flora, fauna and microbial diversity of Indian Sunderbans for identifying indicators of climate change and pollution effect' has one position available for JRF/SRF with a project duration of 2 years. Essential qualifications include a B.Sc. in Zoology and an M.Sc. in Zoology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences with valid GATE/NET/DBT qualifications. Candidates with two years of experience as JRF may also apply for the SRF position. The age limit is not more than 28 years, with a salary of Rs. 37,000 + 27% HRA for JRF and Rs. 42,000 + 27% HRA for SRF. Relaxation on qualification and age is available as per Government of India rules.
