The admission process is decided through the marks you obtained in class 12.
You have to go to the college website and submit your marks and choose your subject, sometimes you need to pay an application fee but due to covid, this year the application was free.
After the deadline is over, the college releases a merit list, if you get placed in the first list, you can go to the college website and pay the admission fees.
There are reservation quotas for sc, st, and obc a and obc b.
The college's Geography department is far better than any other local college in your town like Suri Vidyasagar College.
The faculty-student ratio is high, there are about 90-100 students in every department, and there are only 4-5 teachers.
Though all the faculty members don't hold Ph.D. degrees they are highly qualified.

The course which I did is a simple pass course in History so talking about the placement will not be a great idea because students themselves don't try to get placement from the college side.
