AIMA has released the schedule for the MAT 2025 September session. The exam will be conducted in two modes: Paper-Based Test (PBT) on September 21 and Computer-Based Test (CBT) on September 28. The registration deadline for the PBT is September 15, while for the CBT, it is September 22.
TNEA Round 1 tentative allotment is now available on tneaonline.org for candidates with ranks between 1 and 39145. Candidates must confirm their allotted seats by July 18. The official allotment letters will be issued on July 19, 2025.
TANCET 2025 rank list has been released on tn-mbamca.com for MBA and MCA admissions. Candidates whose names are in the TANCET 2025 rank list are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Choice filling for TANCET 2025 MCA counselling will be done from July 24 to July 26, 2025, and the seat allotment result will be released on July 29, 2025. For TANCET 2025 MBA counselling, choice filling will be done from July 29 to August 1, 2025, and the seat allotment result will be released on August 2, 2025.
TNEA 2025 Round 1 counselling has started for candidates with ranks 1 to 39,145. The last day for choice filling is July 16, 2025.
XAT 2026 registration has begun today, July 10, 2025. The last date to fill out the application form online is December 5, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 4, 2026. The exam pattern and syllabus remain unchanged from last year. Both new applicants and previously registered users can log in to complete the application process.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has released the tentative seat allotment for TNEA 2025 under the Government Special Reservation category. Candidates are required to log in to tneaonline.org with their credentials and confirm their seat allotment by 5 PM on July 8, 2025. The allotments are made based on candidates’ TNEA ranks and the choices they submitted.
TNEA 2025 online counselling for Government special reservation (Differently Abled, Ex-Servicemen, Sports) is from July 7–8. General special reservation counselling for the same categories will be held from July 9–11. General counselling will be conducted from July 14 to August 19, 2025, in multiple rounds based on rank and category.
The rank list for MBA and MCA programs from the TANCET 2025 will be published on July 14, 2025. The grievance redressal period will take place from July 15–18, 2025. Counselling is conducted in a three-step process, with online registration, choice filling, and seat allotment based on merit, category, and availability. Candidates must apply on tn-mbamca.com and will need to bring along their scorecards.
Students who have passed their Higher Secondary Examinations of the 10 +2 curriculum under State Board, CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation and any other recognized Board of Examination with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as three of the four subjects of study under Part III and A pass in HSC Examination (vocational) are eligible for admission into I year B.E/B.Tech Courses.
Candidate should have done B.Tech or B.E. in concerned stream.

The admission of students (both Government Quota and Management Quota) is based on the merit list of the entrance examination conducted by TANCET or Consortium. For Government Quota-TANCET, For Management Quota-CONSORTIUM, Student’s eligibility is based on the appearance for Entrance Examination conducted by either TANCET or CONSORTIUM.
