The H.O.D of English Literature is Professor Parimal Bhattacharya. He is also a renowned writer with books like 'No path in Darjeeling is straight' published by Harper Collins. Professor Pritha Chakraborty will be your favourite surely. The way she manages to be welcoming yet keeping the intricacies of the subject intact, is commendable.

Overall: The Maulana Azad college is one of the best college to pursue the bachelor or master degree in all the subjects specially the science subject of my honours subject is zoology and am doing honours
