An archaeological museum was started in 1986.UGC provides financial assistance to expand the museum. The museum curator and PG students of the Department of History conduct extensive exploration in the surrounding areas. The store is managed by a board of directors who are elected by the members .Members of the staff and students are eligible to become Members by purchasing one or more shares.The value of A class share is Rs. 5- students who pay Rs.3/-can become B class shareholders. College Canteen is functioning in the campus. Highly nutritional food is served. Snacks and lunch is available. College has one of the best 400 m tracks in palakkad disctrict. Many district level competition used to held on this track in recent times. College has got an excellent open auditorium which makes the venue for many cultural activties in the collge. A seminar hall with more than 300 seating capacity exits in the campus.  The hall is equipped with all audio/ video infrastrucutres. MES kalladi college cricket team has won many prizes in district level and university level matches. To improve their skills and helping them an excellent practice nets is also maintained by the physical education department.
