MGM Hosts Webinar on Aristotle’s Philosophy - As part of the ‘Philosophers’ World’ webinar series organized by MGM University, the ninth session was successfully conducted featuring a talk by Dr. Deepti Gangawane on the topic “Aristotle: A Profound Philosopher in the Western Intellectual Tradition.” Dr. Gangawane provided a comprehensive overview of Aristotle’s life and contributions, shedding light on his association with Plato, his work in metaphysics, science, and logic. She emphasized the depth of Aristotle’s thought by stating, “To discuss Aristotle in 45 minutes is difficult; even 45 sessions wouldn’t suffice.” The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Amita Valmiki, who offered a concise synthesis of the lecture, appreciated the speaker’s insights, and commended the consistency and quality of the ongoing webinar series.
