About NIT Nagpur
Nagpur Institute of Technology (NIT), is one of the rapid budding technological institutes of elevated status in Maharashtra. Located in Nagpur, the campus is extended over extensive 26 acres. The Institute is affiliated with Rashtrasanta Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) and has approval from AICTE and DTE. Apart from it, the Institute is also accredited by NAAC.
NIT, Nagpur consists of qualified and dedicated faculty members with a passion for teaching with 10 PhD Holders, 8 PhD Pursuing & remaining Post Graduate Faculty Members. Faculties at NIT Nagpur are known for a national repute, a brilliant student community, excellent technical & supporting staff and an effective administration.
NIT, Nagpur believes in providing value-added education offered to empower the student profile. Smart Classrooms at NIT are enabled with Laptop, internet & Projectors. State of the art of computing facilities with necessary software and open source lab facility. The institute also consists of a Central Library with a vast repository of knowledge and NPTEL facilities. NIT, Nagpur has signed MoUs with the reputed educational institutions, Industries, Corporate in India and abroad like Huawei China.
The III cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell at NIT, Nagpur has been established to align the academic efforts with the emerging industry trends. Industry internships are arranged by the department for students in their third and final year of study. The Institute also consists of a training and placement cell with consistent placement record. The students also get the chance of getting indulged in professional clubs, NCC and NSS cell to gain leadership quality, self-confidence & interpersonal skills enhancement. The Nagpur Institute of Technology (NIT) also provides various scholarships for students. Other facilities which are provided by NIT, Nagpur includes 24 hours of high-speed internet with 50 Mbps bandwidth, RO water facility, and well-established cafeteria and girls hostel with hygienic food.
