MHT CET 2025: Analysis (Out), PCM Exam Date (April 19-27), Pattern, Question Paper, Cutoff

MHT CET 2025 exam  is concluded for the PCB group on April 17, 2025 and the MHT CET 2025 PCM group is scheduled to be conducted from April 19 to 27, 2025. As per the candidates who took the MHT CET exam, the PCB group exam was moderate as per the difficulty level. The Physics section was moderately difficult in comparison with other sections.

Candidates appearing for the MHT CET 2025 had to complete the registration process and submit the application form. The MHT CET application fee for the unreserved category was INR 800, whereas the reserved and PwD candidates had to pay INR 600. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, commonly known as MHT CET, is a state-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programmes in Maharashtra. The difficulty level of the MHT CET exam is considered to be the same as that of the JEE Main exam.

MHT CET Answer Key 2025 will be released by State CET Cell, Maharashtra, tentatively in May 2025 at cetcell.mahacet.org as per the previous trends of the exam. The MHT CET 2025 answer key will be released along with the response sheet soon after the exam is conducted. Candidates should tally the answers mentioned in the MHT CET answer key with the responses provided by them in the response sheet to calculate their probable score. Candidates will also be provided the facility to challenge the MHT CET Answer Key 2025.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will release theMHT CET Result 2025 on its official website once by June 2025. MHT CET 2025 cutoff will be released along with the MHT CET seat allotment result 2025. The MHT CET cutoff signifies the minimum scores that candidates are required to secure to be eligible for admission into B.Tech courses based on MHT CET 2025 exam. The MHT CET 2025 Cutoff will vary as per the different MHT CET Participating Colleges 2025. Candidates clearing the MHT CET cutoff 2025 will be eligible for the further admission process conducted by the respective institutes.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducts the MHT CET counselling process across multiple rounds. Candidates who secure a rank in the MHT CET Merit List 2025 will be eligible to participate in the MHT CET counselling process 2025. Candidates will be allotted seats in the MHT CET participating institutes 2025 based upon the choices filled by them and the availability of seats at the institutes. 

The MHT CET seat allotment 2025 will be released after each round of counselling results are released post-counselling process. Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats will need to move forward with the admission process. Otherwise, candidates can wait for better allotment in the second round of counselling.

MHT CET 2025 Admit Card has been released by April 3, 2025, at mahacet.org for PCB stream. The MHT CET PCM Admit Card 2025 has been released on April 9, 2025 for the candidates who will appear for exams from April 19 to 27, 2025. Registered candidates will be able to access their admit card/hall ticket through login credentials: application number and password. Suppose any candidate finds any discrepancy in the MHT CET admit card. In that case, they must report it to the exam authority as soon as possible to avoid any hassle on the exam day. Step 2: Log in with your registered credentials, then click "Submit."

Step 3: The MHT CET 2025 Admit Card will be shown on your screen.

CET Cell, Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2025 exam centre at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates appearing for the exam must be aware of the state and city-wise exam centres. This is for screening candidates who wish to get admission to B.E/B.Tech courses. The test will be offered in around 226 institutes across 36 district headquarters within the state of Maharashtra. Candidates who are appearing from other states can explore the list of MHT CET exam centers. These centers will be located outside Maharashtra. Apart from the home state, MHT CET 2025 will be conducted at centers in Gujarat, Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2025 is conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. MHT CET exam is held for admission in the following courses:

• BTech
• BArch and other

The MHT CET form correction window has been activated by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. Modifications are allowed by applicants who have already submitted their MHT CET 2025 application form till March 12, 2025.  The MHT CET application form 2025 only allows candidates one chance to make corrections. This means that even if the last day for correction may not have passed, the correction facility is locked once the candidate makes a revision and submits the form. Additionally, there are some details that the candidate was powerless to alter.

MHT CET 2025 Application Form submission deadline with a late fee of Rs 500 was closed on February 27, 2025. Students who have not registered and filled out the application form can still have time to fill out and submit the application form. The last date to pay the application fee is February 28, 2025. 

MHT CET 2025 Registration started on December 30, 2024, and the last date to submit the application form without late fine was February 15, 2025. To apply for the MHT CET exam, candidates have to pay INR 800 for UR candidates and INR 600 for reserved and PwD candidates. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell released the notification for the MHT CET 2025 exam on the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org as a PDF that comprises complete details of the exam like exam schedule, application date, application fee, eligibility, pattern, syllabus, and more. MHT CET Registration Form 2025 is available from December 30, 2024, till February 15, 2025. Candidates who are interested in applying for the Maharashtra CET exam can check out the MHT CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria. To be eligible to apply, candidates must have passed/appeared at their qualifying exams, i.e., Class 12 or its equivalent, and should have Indian citizenship. For Candidates from Maharashtra  

1. Candidates should have completed their class 12 or be appearing for it in 2025.  
2. Candidates are required to have Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, a Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies in class 12.  
3. A minimum of 45% marks must be achieved in class 12. Those from backward classes, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disabilities must secure at least 40% marks in class 12.  

For Non-Maharashtra Candidates  

1. Candidates from outside Maharashtra are also eligible to take the MHT CET. 
2. Non-Maharashtra candidates may also apply for BTech admissions via JEE Main 2025.  
3. Reservation policies of MHT CET do not apply to candidates who are not from Maharashtra.  

For OCI/PIO/NRI Candidates  

1. Candidates who are OCI, PIO, or NRI are not required to take the MHT CET. 
2. These candidates can seek admission based on their class 12 or equivalent examination results. 
3. Separate MHT CET 2025 counselling sessions for OCI/PIO/NRI candidates are conducted after the MHT CET admission process concludes.
