About NID Kurukshetra

NID Kurukshetra grants admission on the basis of NID DAT scores to the B.Des programme. The official authorities are to release the DAT prelims results for admissions on March 28, 2024.

The National Institute of Design Kurukshetra (NID Kurukshetra) or National Institute of Design Haryana (NID Haryana) was established in 2016. It is an autonomous institute under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, to emerge and grow as one of the global leaders in design education and research. NID Haryana is approved by AICTE, AIU and the Government of India. The institute aims to lead the way for cutting-edge design trends in the business, industry, and development sectors.

The institute offers one four-year-long bachelor of design programme with three specialisations. The NID Haryana courses specialisations include industrial design, communication design and textile and apparel design. These courses also emphasise providing solutions while taking into account the industries changing trends and requirements. The curriculum is updated regularly to meet these changing demands. The NID Haryana fees for the B.Des course is Rs 10.36 lakh for four years.

The NID Kurukshetra admissions are based on the candidate's previous academic merit and valid entrance exam scores. NID Kurukshetra Courses and Admission 2025

The National Institute of Design Haryana offers a bachelor of design (B.Des) degree that is of four years and is spread out across eight semesters. Three specialisations are offered textile and apparel design, communication design and industrial design. Admission to NID Haryana courses is determined by the applicant's prior academic standing and a valid entrance exam result. The entrance exam recognised for admission to the B.Des programme is the NID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) test. NID Kurukshetra Scholarships

The NID Haryana scholarships offered include awards for the top two rank holders, merit-based scholarships, scholarships for the top students in each discipline each year and the maximum improvement award. Candidates must fulfil the requirements in order to be eligible for the National Institute of Design Kurukshetra scholarships.
