The cut-off (X) for Part-A marks to shortlist candidates in the OPEN category will be Y + (Z⁄2) = ????, where Y and Z are the average marks and standard deviation of distribution of marks obtained by ALL the candidates in Part-A of UCEED 2025. The candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall have to fulfill a relaxed cut-off mark, which will be 0.9X for OBC-NCL/EWS, 0.5X for SC/ST/PwD, where X is the cut-off mark for OPEN category.

Please note that for candidates who are not shortlisted after Part-A cutoff, their Part-B of the paper shall not be evaluated.

UCEED Ranking System 2025

All shortlisted candidates in the UCEED Examination get a rank. The total UCEED score is calculated by adding the marks obtained in Part-A and Part-B of the UCEED Exam. This total score is then used to prepare the final result/rank by IIT Bombay. All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank). All the shortlisted candidates are then considered as qualified in UCEED 2025.
