NERIM Guwahati Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

The candiadate must have passed graguate degree with Recognized Universities. Selection of candidates shall be made as per prescribed rules of Dibrugarh University. There shall be NERIM Entrance Test (NET) of 250 marks on General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and English Language. Apart from the Written Test there shall be Group Discussion (GD) for 50 marks & Personal Interview (PI) for 50 marks. Candidates having composite scores of minimum 500 in MAT or 50 percentile in CAT are exempted from NERIM Entrance Test (NET).
Selection shall be made strictly on the basis of merit.

A student who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in Arts /Science/Commerce of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or any other equivalent Examination recognized as such by the University, with at least 50 per cent marks (45 percent for SC/ST) in aggregate, is eligible to apply for admission into the First Year of the three year Bachelor Degree Course in Business Administration.

The Admission will be done on merit basis as determined by the University. Candidates who have passed 10+2/Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics conducted by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or any Examination recognised as equivalent by the Dibrugarh University with atleast 45% marks, are eligible for admission into the 1st Semester of the BCA course. Relaxation for Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes/OBC/MOBC candidates shall be as per existing rules of the State Govt.

A candidate for admission into the 5 yr Integrated BALLB (Hons.) course shall have -

• Passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination securing in aggregate not less than 45% of the total marks. Provided that there shall be a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

• Not completed 20 years of age (22 years for SC/ ST/ OBC) on 1st January of the year of admission. However, upper age limit may be relaxed with permission from the Vice-Chancellor of the University on the recommendation of the Head of the Department conducting the course under justifiable circumstances.

Selection for admission into the 5 yr Integrated BA. LLB (Hons.) course at NERIM Law College under Dibrugarh University will be made on the following :

• A Common Entrance Test (CET) of maximum 70 marks conducted by Dibrugarh University.

• Career performance carrying a maximum of 20 marks. The aggregate of marks obtained by a candidate in the HSLC and HSSLC examination will be added to the marks secured in CET in the 10 point scale.

• Interview/Group Discussion carrying 10 marks.

As per the approved regulation of Dibrugarh University, a candidate who possesses any Bachelor degree of Dibrugarh University in (10+2 +3) pattern or any other recognized university, with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate in pass or major subjects is eligible to apply for admission into the Master of Social Work (MSW) 2 year full time programme.

Selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of their results in 10+2, or as per the notifications of Dibrugarh University from time to time.
