At present there are three Hostels. The Hostels provide all possible modern facilities to its boarders at reasonable cost. Besides a competent Lady Superintendent, there are separate lady wardens in each Bhaban. Some basic medical facilities are also provided to the hostel boarders. The Hostel is facilitated with emergency generator connection, pay phone booths, and cold water facilities. The Hostel provides accommodation for 100+84+84=268 students.
There College bears a good heritage to run NSS and NCC as a Part of co-curricular activities. The NSS offers help to students in career guidance, skill development on First Aid, Public Speaking, HIV/AIDS awareness, to expedite community development projects and other Socio-Economic issues. Every year about 300 students can enrol their names to become members of NSS spread in three units on first-come-first-serve basis. A student is entitled to get a certificate provided she –
Attends 40 Sundays for two years and 2 hrs in each Sunday to devote herself to community service.
Attends at least one class / week for two years continuously for orientation programme & skill development.
Attends one special camp for seven days every two years
The NCC Unit of this college, comprising 160 cadets, has already made a mark for itself in the national scene, two girls having been selected for the Republic Day Parade in Delhi each year since 2008. It is also to be mentioned that students are recruited into the Police services every year from among the N.C.C cadres. Training camps are held throughout the year, and cadres often have to go outside the state to attend camps. Great importance is being placed on the NCC by the government, and the college is working at par with the needs of the country.
