Overall: The campus has such a great vibe and the extracurricular activities are great has a ton of options to choose from. Life here is heavily centred on Tathva and Ragam - probably two of the best few campus fests in South India!
Placement: The top recruiters are Lam Research, Bajaj, Siemens, Nestle, Akash, Byjus, Base, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, PwC etc. The average package is 7LPA. They will also provides you internship opportunity.
Infrastructure: NIT has top-notch infrastructure. The labs are well-equipped, the classroom modern, and the Wi-Fi is reliable. The library is resourceful. There are common rooms, Wi-Fi, study rooms, playing courts for basketball, badminton, cricket, volleyball, open gym, etc
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and well knowleagable. Though they're overqualified, only some of them really know the art of teaching. The curriculum is appropriate.
Hostel: All the hostels have Common room and Recreational center where newspapers, magazines, TV’s and indoor sports/games facilities are available.Free 24 hour internet and computational facilities are available in almost all hostels.
Overall: It was very tough decision for me to move to such a long-distance college. But it was a great experience here. This college taught me to face real-life problems and if you are an extrovert kind of person you will surely enjoy it here in Kerala there are different spots where you can explore and go on adventure trips with friends. That thing is an important thing you should do. but if you are a purely vegetarian kind of person then you may be struggling because here veg food even in restaurants not as good as north Indian food. Here restriction is only till the first year after that you can go anywhere at any time.
Placement: placements are quite good that is why this college comes under top 3 nit colleges in terms of placements and here you can sit in any company's placements based on the cgpa criteria's set by the companies. and here companies start coming after your 4th semester of graduation to offer internships where some students even get PPO (pre placements offers) and many get placed till starting of their 4th year. and their is a platform named as carrier development point which prepares you for placement interviews and all.
Infrastructure: here infrastructure is good but it is divided into different parts due to the main road passing through. so you have to go a slightly long to go to classes so you should go early otherwise some professors may not allow you to enter even if you are 5 minutes late. but now an underground subway construction is going on in college to connect campus. although buses go from mega hostels to campus but usually they are filled with massive crowds. so keep in mind if you try to go by bus either you go early or have the power to suffer in that huge crowd. there is a huge library where you can study at any time any where and issue books from crores of books between 6 am to 12 am. and there are magazines and newspapers also provided every day.
Faculty: faculties are very humble if you need any kind of help but strict in terms of rules and regulations. every faculty is qualified with a PhD and classified into different types based on their experience and projects done by them. such as assistant professor(2-3 years) and associate professor (5-7 years) and professor (8-10 years). there is no restriction for you to do research under any professor but you need to clear the min cgpa criteria which is around 7 to 7.5 or it depending on your work and professor. you can approach them to their office between 9 to 5 or you can directly mail them regarding any issue.
Hostel: There are a total of 11 hostels and 3 Mega hostels counting all Btech, Mtech, PhD, MBA, BSC, Barch, etc types of students. In your first, you may struggle because, in a room of a capacity of 3 people, there are 4 students in each room. where 2 students will be from Kerala and the other two will be from other states than Kerala. there are playing courts like a badminton court, open gym, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket net, etc. outside the different hostels and inside each hostel there is a canteen to buy necessary items and one common room where there is a big TV and playing equipment like a chessboard, carrom board, tennis table, etc. and after second year you will be shifted to mega hostel where two person will be living in one room and there are study rooms and one mega xerox and canteen for necessary items and other things same as other hostels.
Overall: this is very good collage,,,,faculty of this collage is very good,,, teachers solve each and every doubt of their students,,this is very good place for study
Overall: They arrange educational trips to other place so that the students as a exposure to the outer environment. They prvide live session. I like this placement.
Overall: For my JEE Main rank, I got this chemical engineering so I opted for it. Many intentions and teachers are good and facilities are good. They introduce the correct and useful curriculum. Here, fests are not as good as expected.
Placement: Students in their seventh semester are eligible to participate in the placement process at our college. Renowned companies such as Oracle, Bajaj, and DE Shaw have visited our campus, offering attractive opportunities. The highest package offered was approximately 60 Lacs, while the average package stands at around 12 Lacs.
Infrastructure: There will be AC, labs, a library, and study rooms. All classrooms will be well furnished so you will feel very comfortable listening to classes. There will be availability of Wi-Fi across campus and hostels. In case of a medical emergency, there will be a health care centre that is totally free.
Faculty: The teachers exhibit a commendable level of assistance and engagement, although a few may display strictness and arrogance towards students. However, considering their age, it is understandable for occasional outbursts to occur. The curriculum comprises a mid-semester examination and an end-semester examination. It proves highly beneficial for students inclined towards the core subjects, although the majority of students express a keen interest in the IT field.
Hostel: The washrooms are maintained in a clean and tidy manner. The quality of the mess food is not terrible, but dishes prepared with coconut oil may not be enjoyable for students from outside the state. The promotion of sports and games is highly encouraged, and there is a health center available for medical services.
Overall: The hostels in nitc follow as per the menu the food is not bad as of other state person i can't say I am 100 percent satisfy with the food that they are providing but we can adjust with the food. The mess fee is okay we can pay with in the nitc hostels app Study is very very good we can get placements with that
Placement: As of now I have heard the more students are not getting the placements but we are trying to get into something by our teachers or faculties help . The placements will be guaranteed it was almost 98 Percentage can get placements so the placements will be good and all will be satisfied with that
Infrastructure: NITC infrastructure is good compared to remaining NITS/IITS we have good ventilation in the classrooms and mess library is too comfortable to study the buildings and the climate all these creates a postive feel i
Faculty: faculty in nitc are very good some of them help us in placements and internship as they are senior lecture who can bring many companies using their influence and many faculties if we meet them in their free timings they give as many advices we want
Hostel: In NITC they are 3 different types of hostels 1) for 1st year 2)for 2,3 years 3)for 4th year For 1st people they are 4 people in a room it's good we can adjust as the hostels are good for 2nd,3rd year is awesome the room only has 2 people but for 4th years the hostels are too worst there is no nice ventilation
Placement: This year highest package is 48 around 85 percentage members is placed out 100 members place ment are good in campus 200 company are coming they selected out 1500 members 1200 is comped job
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure Around the campus residential building 14 hostel are there in college 8 boys hostel 1 girls mega hostel capacity is around 800 members in hostel
Hostel: rooms are good and internet connection Water facility is 24 hours.food not good not bad 2 sharing room. Games rooms are available in hostel hot water facility is available
Placement: Almost 90% students get placed in core branches such as civil, mechanical. In CS and ECE department placements are almost 100%. Over 131 companies visited the campus last year giving about 1000 job opportunities to the students. Average package goes around 15 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The campus is built beautifully and is spacious too. There are separate academic building and department buildings. There are separate labs for each department with all necessary equipment such as Fluid Machinery Lab, Hydraulic Lab, Offshore Lab, Electrical Lab, CAD Lab and many more.
Faculty: The quality of faculties and their teaching style is very effective and as per the needs of today's industry. Almost all of them are graduated from NITs and IITs with PHDs from foreign universities. They are well experienced and provide excellent knowledge of the respective subjects.
Hostel: There are in total 11 hostels. First year students are given separate hostels. From second year onwards, students are given rooms in Mega hostels. Girls have their own hostels situated in greenery. Overall, the hostels are nice and decent. One issue with hostels is that there are common washrooms. Otherwise its fine.
Overall: Nit Calicut itself is one of the top colleges in India. The placements here are top notch. The college hostels given to us are not bad.The teaching staff are well experienced.
Placement: Placements here in the Nit Calicut are top notch. Here there are many companies coming like Qualcomm, Microsoft,Google,TCS etc..Around 86% have got placed here with a highest package around 48 lakh per annum and median package at 11 lakh per annum.Around 200 companies visited the campus recruiting more than 1100 students this year.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of the campus is actually okay.As this campus has been constructed in 1961 so the buildings here are quite old but the management is putting efforts from their side to improve the Infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty here are graduates from IITs and other prestigious colleges. They are well experienced and PhD holders. They are going to be strict regarding attendance. They can deliver good concepts to the students with well defined examples and teach you how to prepare for the placements.
Hostel: For the 1st year students u need to stay in some old hostels which are okay.Don't worry they are trying to modify everything here. But from second year u need to stay in Mega hostels which are like amazing with good ambience and they are kept near so no issues. The hostels have water filters and co-operative store inside it.The room capacity for 1st year students is 4.Inside the hostel itself there is mess for having food and refreshments.

Hostel: For the 1st year students u need to stay in some old hostels which are okay.Don't worry they are trying to modify everything here. But from second year u need to stay in Mega hostels which are like amazing with good ambience and they are kept near so no issues. The hostels have water filters and co-operative store inside it.The room capacity for 1st year students is 4.Inside the hostel itself there is mess for having food and refreshments
