Overall: The hostels in nitc follow as per the menu the food is not bad as of other state person i can't say I am 100 percent satisfy with the food that they are providing but we can adjust with the food. The mess fee is okay we can pay with in the nitc hostels app Study is very very good we can get placements with that
Placement: As of now I have heard the more students are not getting the placements but we are trying to get into something by our teachers or faculties help . The placements will be guaranteed it was almost 98 Percentage can get placements so the placements will be good and all will be satisfied with that
Infrastructure: NITC infrastructure is good compared to remaining NITS/IITS we have good ventilation in the classrooms and mess library is too comfortable to study the buildings and the climate all these creates a postive feel i
Faculty: faculty in nitc are very good some of them help us in placements and internship as they are senior lecture who can bring many companies using their influence and many faculties if we meet them in their free timings they give as many advices we want
Hostel: In NITC they are 3 different types of hostels 1) for 1st year 2)for 2,3 years 3)for 4th year For 1st people they are 4 people in a room it's good we can adjust as the hostels are good for 2nd,3rd year is awesome the room only has 2 people but for 4th years the hostels are too worst there is no nice ventilation
Overall: Nit Calicut itself is one of the top colleges in India. The placements here are top notch. The college hostels given to us are not bad.The teaching staff are well experienced.
Placement: Placements here in the Nit Calicut are top notch. Here there are many companies coming like Qualcomm, Microsoft,Google,TCS etc..Around 86% have got placed here with a highest package around 48 lakh per annum and median package at 11 lakh per annum.Around 200 companies visited the campus recruiting more than 1100 students this year.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of the campus is actually okay.As this campus has been constructed in 1961 so the buildings here are quite old but the management is putting efforts from their side to improve the Infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty here are graduates from IITs and other prestigious colleges. They are well experienced and PhD holders. They are going to be strict regarding attendance. They can deliver good concepts to the students with well defined examples and teach you how to prepare for the placements.
Hostel: For the 1st year students u need to stay in some old hostels which are okay.Don't worry they are trying to modify everything here. But from second year u need to stay in Mega hostels which are like amazing with good ambience and they are kept near so no issues. The hostels have water filters and co-operative store inside it.The room capacity for 1st year students is 4.Inside the hostel itself there is mess for having food and refreshments.
