NIT Calicut JoSAA Cutoff 2024: JoSAA Seat Allotment 2024 Round 1 has been released on the official website on July 20, 2024. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has also released the cutoff of NIT Calicut after the final round of seat allotment on its official website - josaa.admissions.nic.in. The NIT Calicut JoSAA Cutoff 2024 is the minimum mark required for the candidates to be accepted into the institution's various B.Tech programmes. The cutoff for admission to NIT Calicut is released in the form of opening and closing ranks i.e. the rank at which seats start filling up and the last rank at which admission is granted to the last candidate. JoSAA issues separate JEE Main cutoffs for the various NIT Calicut courses offered and candidate categories. NIT Calicut JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2024: For Round 2, JoSAA has released JoSAA cutoff 2024 today, June 28, for all participating institutes. Applicants willing to and are yet to enroll in NIT Calicut for engineering courses, can check out the Round 2 cutoff here. Keep in mind that the Round 2 cutoff has been provided for HS and OS quota only, and for the open gender-neutral categories. In Round 1, the closing rank for Mechanical Engineering was 31441 for the HS quota and 27390 for the OS quota for the open gender-neutral category. In Round 2,  the closing rank for Mechanical Engineering is 31528 for the HS quota, and 28187 for OS quota for the open gender-neutral category.

NIT BTech Fee Structure 2024: The fee structure for BTech typically includes a tuition fee of INR 62,500 to INR 1,25,000 per semester. While VNIT Nagpur charges the highest NIT fees for BTech of INR 1,25,000 per semester, most NITs have a semester fee of INR 62,500. Apart from the tuition fee, one must incur other expenses like hostel fees, mess fees, one-time admission fees, and more. However, the same may vary depending on the National Institute of Technology, the student's requirements and their category. Eligible students can also opt for financial aid and grants if their family income from all sources is less than INR 1 lakhs and INR 5 Lakhs. The NIT Council determines the fee structure for NITs in India. Soon after JEE Main, the institute posts the NIT total fees for 4 years with hostel for all categories on the JoSAA webpage.

NIT Calicut Ph.D. Admission 2023 Open: National Institute of Technology Calicut has commenced the registration process for NIT Calicut Ph.D. Admission 2023 and is currently ongoing. As per a recent notification, the last date for form submission was initially November 3, 2023, 6 PM, but now it has been extended till November 8, 6 PM. Candidates who want to take admission to Ph.D. programmes but have not yet applied yet can do so within the extended period at nitc.ac.in. The link to register has been updated here for convenience. Karnataka DCET Option Entry Link 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will activate the choice filling of Karnataka DCET today, July 9, 2024. Candidates can enter their options in order of priority at the official web portal - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
