Placement: Good companies come for the placement in Durgapur and many many companies also visit for placement and internship both. Company like Google Microsoft Wipro and many more than they give a moderate package to all student average package will be of 8 to 9 lakh

Infrastructure: There are two academic building one is men academic building and another is new academic building both building in very good condition and one new research building is just opened in United Durgapur named as Utkarsh research building

Faculty: There many facilitated provided in this college one of all there is a facility of medical insurance first student from the where they can claim a medical charge of approx 1.5 lakh

Overall: Strong industry connection and proactive training and placement cell,delivering quality education through innovative teaching method ,excellent infrastructure.

Placement: Mnc like Microsoft,amazon,Salesforce,adobe,deloitte ,tcs ,visit every year apart from tech placement ,thr company of corr branches like bpcl ,larson and tourbo ,ongc, also visit,overall good placement

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a blend of modern amenities and functional design providing student with conducive learning and living environment ,there is mab ,nab ,research building with workshop and many departmental building.

Faculty: Faculty at NIT durgapur is commendable,knowledgeable professional dedicated to provide quality education and guidance to student,apart the professor of Cs department are good but from electrical department they posses a rude type behaviour

Hostel: The hostel is of 12 floor with well maintained facilities including spacious rooms equipped with essential amenities like study table ,lamb and chair.hosteel havee also 6 lift at three different corner.

Overall: The college has good infrastructure like auditorium,ac library,spacious classrooms,modern hostels and a newly constructed research building which is one of its kind in all over India.The study atmosphere and faculty is also good.The placement scenario is also good and getting better day by day.

Placement: The placement for all the branches is good.Last year metallurgy branch secured the maximum no of placement with 91%.Core branches placement is good.Many top companies come for software placements like Microsoft ,Google etc.The internship scenario is also good

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is quite good.It has world class auditorium,large playing grounds,spacious hostels,amazing research building and ac classrooms.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are helpful and approachable.They clear all the doubts and help in all the possible ways to explain a topic.Although some prof don't give marks and are quite hard to secure marks.

Hostel: Several new halls are constructed and the condition is quite good.Hall 14 which is generally alloted to 1st and 2nd year is a 12 storey building and is spectacular.Hall 11 is also good in condition.

Placement: Normally the placements in NITD commence in the beginning of the final year (Seventh Semester) i.e. in the month of July. Prior to this, an invitation is sent to all previous recruiters in the month of May. Along with the invitation a form is provided seeking the company profile & information ( CPI Form).

Faculty: Placements: I am from batch 2022-2026. I am pursuing mechanical engineering at NIT Durgapur, and almost 92 percent of my people get placed in many reputed companies. The average package is around INR 12 lakh. Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, John Deere, and many more also come for campus placement.

Hostel: Staying in hostels is mandatory for all undergraduate students of the Institute. There are seven hostels for boys,three of these halls have single-seated rooms for senior students and two hostels for girls to accommodate the admitted students. Each hostel has a separate mess managed under the supervision of wardens.

Overall: I my opinion one of the best NIT, environment is very good for study and teacher and other staff are co-opearative,ragging is zero in your campus because of the student welfare committe

Placement: It is a good college if you are a hard working student college help you in every way they can to get. you a right knowledge and right job,also teacher are very helpful,and hostels are also good so overall you may come this nit to fulfill your dream job and dream branch

Infrastructure: It's good but it can be better,some times in lab you don't get sufficient instrument to perform your work,but it's can be managed,but in terms of fees it can be better

Faculty: Some teacher are very good and co -operating,and the have ample amount of knowledge but some teacher also have very poor knowledge in terms of academic courses

Hostel: Hostel are very good compared to the other college,hostel food is also good,3 time food is given here,breakfast,lunch,dinner,both veg and non veg is available here,other facilities are also available with wifi connection

Placement: About 80 percent students get placed every year and 90 percent in computer science average package around 14 pla overall and 22 lpa in cse.mostly students get internship.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wife is good few of the class room are just like iit Bombay. Classroom are well ventilated.labs are well equipped and get all the useful equipment.

Faculty: The professors at NIT Durgapur are highly qualified and experienced, providing quality education and guidance to students. They are approachable and dedicated to the academic success of their students. But few of them are not too supportive.

Overall: The College is one of the top NITs and The Fests here are actually very good and crazy I must say like Aarohan and Rectasy.It is usually conducted in the starting months like between Jan-Mar.The library is pretty good and huge too.The Book are enough foreign journals and magazines and reading rooms are there too.The classroom are very clean and big. The sports has a separate department and new complex has been built.There are various clubs like Recursion,Glug,Debsoc and many more which are very good in terms of fame and influence.

Placement: Many companies visited this year like 150+ and offers are also made around 600+.Around 80 percent of the students gets placed.The companies which come are good like JMPC and PWC and Texas Instruments etc they give paid internships which is very good in placements. We development and Coding skills are required for the internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The campus is very large and beautiful.The academics building and labs are in good condition too.There are mutilple buildings and complexes for different departments and many canteens in nearby proximity.

Faculty: The faculty student is very good as it is very close to 1:4.The exams are very close and less timed because of the vacations calender and the exam are in easy to moderate level.The checking level of paper is also moderate.

Hostel: The Hostel is also very big and the contains basketball court and the mess food and quality is also very tasty and good.The registeration process is pretty simple and is done on the very first day and the fees is bit high because of various veg and non veg meals. The maintenance is also very good.

Overall: Overall NIT Durgapur is a way better than the some of privates collages for engineering , it have very good placement as well as internship opportunity along with that the campus life of NIT Durgapur is awesome.

Placement: The placement statistic of NIT Durgapur is very good with the highest package of 50 LPA or more than that and having 11 LPA average package. The placement percentage of NIT Durgapur is different for different branches but overall placement percentage of NIT Durgapur is goes up to 90% .

Infrastructure: NIT Durgapur have a very good well established infrastructure consist of 14 Hostels , Main Academic Building, New Academic Building and various building for various department , and libraries for study purpose of students.

Faculty: Faculty members of NIT Durgapur are well educated and done their PhD from prestigious collages like IIT's , they all have a good teaching experience of average 7 years, the ratio of student and faculty in NIT Durgapur is nearly 1:7.

Hostel: There are total 14 hostel in NIT Durgapur , Hall-11 and Hall-14 is the newest hostels of NIT Durgapur usually these two hostels is allotted to the freshers , Hall-11 is allotted to the freshers boys and Hall-10 is allotted to the freshers girls. All the hostel is present near the academic section of collage.

Overall: Overall review of college is good. Regarding placements and enjoyment are excellent. New hostels are being built. So, infrastructure is getting good day by day

Placement: Excellent. Placements are getting better year by year. Nearly 80% students gets placed every year. Coming to my branch, nearly90% students gets placed. Average lpa is 7.

Infrastructure: Good. As college is old,infrastructure is not that good. But it is getting good year by year and there is a good development now. It got central library, student activity centre and many laboratories.

Faculty: Good. Faculty are highly qualified and experienced. They are very good in helping students in research and project issues. Now a days they are using smart class to teach

Hostel: At present only first years got new hostels. Remaining hostels are under construction. By next year they will get ready. So no need to worry about hostel. At present 3 students are alloted to each room

Overall: Overall college is good. Placements, enjoyment, faculty is very good. Infrastructure is getting good year by year and many new hostels are being built
