The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at NIT (National Institute of Technology) Goa are as follows: Candidates must have a Master's degree in the relevant field of study with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum CGPA requirement is relaxed to 6.0 on a 10-point scale or 55% marks in aggregate. Additionally, candidates must have a valid GATE/NET/JRF score or any other equivalent national level examination score.
