NIT Silchar BTech admission 2024 will start from June 10, 2024 with JoSAA registration. JEE Main session 2 result 2024 has been released on April 24, 2024. Candidates can download the scorecard online from NTA website using JEE application ID and password. The JoSAA round 1 seat allotment will start from June 22, 2024 tentatively.

NIT Silchar B.Tech Admission 2024 Dates

Walk-in Inquiries

Students or candidates who want to be admitted to any department can walk into the admission cell situated on the campus and take the application form. The form can be submitted to the admission office. A nominal application fee of Rs 1000 is to be paid while submitting the form, which can be paid by credit/debit card, net banking, or through UPI as well, and if the candidate is shortlisted, they will be reached out via phone or email by the admission team. The candidate will receive an acknowledgement receipt upon successfully accepting the application form.

Online Application

Since the onset of the corona pandemic, most of the admission process is now online. Candidates can submit their application via the official link and pay the application fee of Rs 1000 via net banking, credit/debit cards, or even the UPI system. The list of needed documents should also be uploaded on the same site by the candidate. Once the application is sent, the candidate would receive an acknowledgement through email and via SMS as well.

National Institute of Technology, Silchar Counselling Process 2023

The counselling process is carried out once the candidate has been shortlisted for a particular course at the National Institute of Technology, Silchar. The counselling centre is mainly at the institute, making it easy for the candidate.

NIT Silchar admits students in M.Sc for three different specialisations. Students must have JAM Scores to get admission to the interested branch.

Candidates applying for the NIT Silchar MBA course need to know the NIT Silchar MBA eligibility criteria for 2019. It is a must for candidates to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Candidates opting for the MBA course at NIT Silchar need to have a bachelor's degree from any UGC-recognised college/ university/ institute. Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50% or 5.5 CGPA/CGPI in their graduation. However, the candidates falling under the reserved class i.e. SC/ST/OBC candidates need to only score 45% or more in graduation. Candidates, to apply for the NIT Silchar MBA course, need to know the NIT Silchar MBA application process for 2019. Applicants need to visit the NIT Silchar official website. Then, they need to fill out the application form carefully. Attach the documents required for verification along with the NIT Silchar MBA application form 2019. Candidates then need to pay the application fee and submit the application form.

NIT Silchar MBA Application Fee 2019

It is mandatory for candidates to pay the NIT Silchar MBA application fee for 2019 along with the NIT Silchar MBA application form 2019. The candidates can pay the application fee through Demand Draft. The DD should be drawn in the favour of the director of NIT Silchar and need to be payable at SBI.

For general candidates, the NIT Silchar MBA application fee is Rs 1500. Whereas the application fee for the reserved class i.e. the SC/ST/OBC/PwD category is Rs 1000. If the application fee is not paid by the candidates then the application form is cancelled by the college.

NIT Silchar MBA Selection Process 2019

The NIT Silchar MBA selection process is very simple. The candidates need to pass the 3 phases of the selection process. The MBA selection process comprises the entrance exam round, GD and PI round.

Entrance Exam: The candidates need to sit for the national level entrance exams such as CAT/CMAT/MAT. Candidates are judged on the basis of the marks obtained by the students in the entrance exam.

GD: Candidates who qualified and got shortlisted by the college need to sit for the group discussion round and qualify.

PI: Candidates who cleared both the entrance exam and GD round need to sit for the interview round.

Candidates finally qualifying for the personal interview round need to submit the course fee and confirm their seats.
