The GATE 2026 Admit Card for Computer Science & IT will be available on January 2, 2026 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The CS exam is scheduled for February 8, 2026, and will be held in two sessions: CS1 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and CS2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The GATE 2026 schedule for all 30 papers is now out. The exams will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. CS and CE will be conducted in two shifts, while the remaining papers will have a single shift. Admit cards will be released on January 2, 2026.
The GATE 2026 mock tests for all subjects are now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The examination is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, while the admit cards will be issued on January 2, 2026.

- Other Communities (OC) : (Communities other than BC / MBC / SC / ST) Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry
- Backward Class Community (BC) of Tamil Nadu : Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar
- Most Backward Class Community (MBC) of Tamil Nadu : Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar
- SC/ST Community of Tamil Nadu : pass in 12th standard or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The Candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar.
