Pandu College Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

The scholarships offered at Pandu College are covered under government scholarship schemes, railway scholarships, several funds operated by the government, merit scholarships, scholarships under NCC, and a single girl child scholarship scheme among others. There is also a separate student Pandu College welfare fund that is put by the college to help students in need of financial assistance.

Pandu College Student Welfare Fund

Pandu College welfare fund is the college's own fund that is set up to provide financial assistance to college students who are meritorious and belong to the economically backward class. The college’s welfare fund can be availed by students when the applications are open by the college. The application must be submitted along with the income proof of the parent which should be attested by a competent authority. After the application, a committee is formed to review these applications.

Pandu College Free Admission

To get free admission at Pandu College, students must satisfy the following eligibility criteria set by the government.

• The student is eligible for free admission to only one institution.
• College authorities reserve the right to free admission and the decision of the authority is final.

Documents required for free admission

Students desiring Pandu College scholarships for free admission need to present the required documents to the college authorities.

• Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination. 
• Age Certificate/HSLC Admit Card.
• Four copies of a recent passport-size photograph with white background.
• Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
• Caste Certificate wherever necessary (issued by the competent authority under the Government of Assam only shall be valid).
• PWD Certificate wherever necessary (issued by competent authority).
• Migration Certificate (for students migrating from a Board/ Council/ University other than AHSEC/G.U.) with a photocopy of the same.
• Gap Certificate (for candidates who have passed their qualifying examination earlier than the current year). A gap certificate must be issued by a Gazetted Officer. 
• An undertaking from the applicant and his/her parent/guardian in the prescribed ANTI-RAGGING form.
• All downloaded mark sheets will have to be attested by the Head of the Institution last attended.
