The students of B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com. streams securing the First, Second and Third places will get full-free studentship on the basis of the result of the Part-I and Part-II examination. Besides, many poor and meritorious students have been getting free and half-fee studentship throughout the year and in some special cases, financial help is extended at the time of Part-I, Part-II and Part-III Examination to the poor students from Students’ Aid Fund. Recently the college has undertaken a drive to help the poor students by distributing text books from the above mentioned Fund. Also the Students who are admitted in each Honours class of B.A. and B.Sc. courses seeuring highest marks will get full free studentship and first three students taking admission in B.Com. Honours course will get full-free studentship
In 2013-14, 183 students have received scholarship under Post Matric Talent Support Scheme; 101 students have received Post Matric Stipend and 188 students have received Post Matric Scholarship from West Bengal Minority Development Finance Corporation.
195 girl students applied for stipend under Kanyasree Prakalpa. Nearly 70 students received the stipend till date. 50 girl students participated in the District Kanyasri Fair at Domjur. There, Smt. Soumi Kanrar, English Hons. 1st year delivered a beautiful speech on Women issues in the extempore competition.
Every year toppers in C.U. Part I and Part II examinations in every subject are awarded by exemption of tuition fees. In addition some of the distressed students are also awarded with full free-ship and half free-ship. In the year 12-13, 95 students and in 2013-14 114 students are awarded full free-ship. In the year 12-13, 49 students and in 2013-14, 51 students are awarded half-free-ship.
