Dear student,

In 2024, approximately 11,70,048 students appeared for JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 and 11,79,569 students registered for JEE Mains 2024 Session 2. Over 1,91,000 students applied for admission to approximately 17,385 seats across 23 IITs through JEE Advanced 2024. About 9,24,636 common candidates registered in both sessions (January/April) of the JEE Main 2024, out of which approximately48,248 candidates qualified for JEE Advanced 2024.

JEE Advanced 2025 is expected to pose intense competition. Of the total seats, 20% are reserved under the female-supernumerary quota. Hope this helps.

If you have entered the wrong college accidentally while filling out the JEE Main application form then it should not affect your ability to attend the exam. However, it is important to fill out the JEE Main Registration Form carefully as errors in details like college preferences could create issues during counselling if they are not corrected. These are the following steps that can be taken as possible steps -

  • Correction Window: NTA usually opens a correction window for JEE Main application, allowing candidates to correct errors in specific fields. Check for any mistakes and correct them.
  • Impact on Admission: If not corrected, incorrect college information might affect your JoSAA counselling process, as preferences should match your intended choices. However, this error alone should not impact the eligibility for the exam itself.
  • Contact Support: If the JEE Main application correction window is closed, you can reach out to the NTA’s support team for advice. They can provide guidance on whether this correction can be made later or if it will impact your application.

Dear Ajay

In order to get admission to the MPharm in Pharmaceutics or any other MPharm specialisation to the university, you must have completed your BPharm degree from a recognised university or institution. You must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the same. While this is the basic requirement for Punjabi University admission to MPharm, the final selection is based on the scores of the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). The duration of the course is 2 years and the total number of seats available is 37.
