The college has a well stocked library with around 13,000 books and several journals and periodicals. The library is fully computerized and renders bar-coded services. The library offers excellent support for students to prepare their assignments and project reports. The library also offers photo copying facility.
Books of the library covers the principal fields of interest in social work, sociology, psychology, anthropology, economics, psychiatry, social research, statistics, criminology, correctional administration, criminology and correctional administration, community development, social welfare administration, health, family and youth welfare, personnel management and hospital administration. The selection of the material is geared to meet the needs of post graduate students and Ph.D. scholars. Although this is special library there are books of general interest and also small collection of fiction. The library receives several professional periodicals in addition to few periodicals of general interests. The College has a full Fledge computer centre with multimedia computers, internet and printer facilities subject to the rules of the courses. Students can make use of the centre for e-mail, internet browsing, word processing, creating presentations and data analysis. Students are also given basic orientation in use of computers and internet. .
Reading facility carrels in the library are designed for comfort and undisturbed study of research scholars. These are well ventilated and provided with study tables, fans and covered lights and each scholar are provided with a mini-cupboard. The library has separate reading room on the newly constructed mezzanine floor for M.S.W. students and Ph.D. scholars.
