The College building, which is now being expanded to meet the demands for additional space and for modernisation, is situated on the bank of the river Damodar at Amta about 1/2 k.m. from Amta Bus Stand, Howrah.
Construction of girls' hostel at mandaria campus has been completed. UGC has provided financial support for this construction under XI th plan scheme. 16 girls' in different UG and PG courses of this college will be provided hostel accommodation on modarate rent.
The NSS cell of the college with three units is now a strong and cohesive force with 400 volunteers and several active staff members are working under the guidance and supervision of the programme officers Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sahoo, Dr. Tapan Kumar Bar and Prof. Amit Das. to make the students conversant with the community, three NSS units are running in the college since 2014. Students of 1st year class may collect and dposit NSS Forms between July and August each yea, from NSS Office of the college and enroll themselves as NSS Volunteers.
Red Ribbon Club Programme (FRRCP) is a comprehensive promotional and preventive intervention enhance voluntary blood donation as well as to mainstream HIV and AIDS prevension, care, support and treatment impact, mitigation, stigmareduction, among the youth in educational institution. It will also prepare and promote youth peer educators within and outside the campuses.
From 2009-2010 Ramsaday College has been selected by Red Ribbon Club as a valuable membervand student union, Ramsaday College has taken oath to motivate the students in different social activities organised by Red Ribbon Club, West Bengal Unit.
To make the student conversant with army way of life, arrangement has been made by the College Authority to enroll the students in the ARMY (INFANTRY branch of NCC) under West Bengal & Sikkim Directoraate Group. College Girls can enroll in 1 No. Bengal Girls Bn. NCC. The 1st year students may collect and deposit NCC enrollment forms between July and August each year from the NCC Department and enroll themselves as a 1st yead cadet.
NCC classes are taken (10 A.M. to 12 Noon) during August to March at College Parade Ground and Maximum number of classes are conducted on Friday.

Infrastructure: The college has two Campuses one is situated at Shankar Nagar and another at Seminary Hills. There are 40 classrooms at both the campuses sizes ranging from 400 sq.ft to 1200 sq.ft. This institution has an ICT enabled rooms, Seminar Halls for conducting seminars, association meetings, paper presentations, and various teaching-learning activities.
Hostel: Our hostel is a single storied brick-built house. It has five rooms for 30 students to live. We have a separate kitchen. We have a Hostel Super. He is affectionate to us but very strict in maintaining discipline. We have to get up early in the morning and say our prayers. We take breakfast at 8 a.m. We have to remain at our reading table till 10:30 a.m. Then we go to the college pond and bathe. After taking our meals we go to our class at 11:30 a.m. A modest standard in providing food is maintained in our hostel. We are given meat or chickens twice a week. Our dining room is neat and clean. In the afternoon we play games. We are allowed to watch TV for half an hour at night. Our hostel is very nice and well-disciplined. I like it very much
