R.M.D. Engineering College Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The campus of RMD Engineering college is spread across 26.2 acres of lush green environment situated at Tiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu. The infrastructure includes full-fledged everlasting Buildings and the renovation is carried out through a skilled and certified team. The College is a ' Clean and Green Campus ' known for its very clean, green and beautiful landscape and plantations providing an excellent learning environment. With its green and pollution-free atmosphere, the college presents an attractive and pleasant look that is conducive to the good teaching-learning environment. 

The whole campus of RMD Engineering college consists of various buildings including Instructional Area,  Laboratories, Library and Computer Centre. The college has a rainwater harvesting facility which is done with suitably dug wells and bore points to enhance the groundwater availability. The central library of the college is constructed in the new block with a carpet area of around 1430 sq.mt. All the services of the college are automated through the use of standard library software package called “AutoLib 5.2 version”. A part from this an online access to the national journal, international journals, proceedings, conference paper & e-books, University Question bank is provided to the students so that they can search online for study material.

The college provides a high-speed internet facility of 310 Mbps by 60 Mbps leased line internet connection from TATA Teleservices and 250 Mbps leased line from Reliance Communication. The internet facility is accessible for one hour for the college students and one and half hour for the hostel students after the college hours. Many computer systems with updated software are installed at the college computer lab. Students may access them in college hours. The residential facility provided by the  RMD Engineering college constitutes separate hostel buildings for both girls and boys. All hostel rooms are provided with a wide range of facilities and comfortable rooms. Students may issue any of the sports equipment available at the campus including Shuttle courts, Table tennis and chess. The college owns a fleet of 80 buses, 15 vans and cars used to provide pickup and drop facility to the students covering almost all major destinations of the city. A fully upgraded gymnasium provided with all equipment is available at the campus. A clinic is also available at the campus which takes care of the medical condition of the students. Regular health checkup is organised for the students by the medical service available at the college campus.
