Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College has given top priority to its academic, administrative and social activities. The college is fully Wi-Fi connected and has
Network Servers. All classes are equipped with modern teaching aids such as overhead projectors, motorized screens, speakers etc.
The Dramatics society provides an opportunity to the students to indulge into theatrical activities through street play and stage play.
The society was adjudged as the best stage play society by DU Beat for the year 2014-15 and its impact could be seen in the auditions that had around 175 registrations with only 30 making to the group. Prior to the auditions the group held a workshop for the fresher that went on for three days teaching the fresher the nuisances of Dramatics.
The prelims for IIT Kanpur event “Antaragni” were held this year in the college itself witnessing participation from colleges of Delhi University and other Universities as well.
This year Sangharsh started of its journey with three productions- “Hum Ram KoBhul Gaye”, the street play; “Run For Your Wife”, English Stage Play and “ShakkarKePaanchDaane”, Hindi Stage Play.
The Dance society of our college popularly known as INNOVERZ has brought many laurels to the college. It has been a very successful year for the achievement of the students in dance. Our students have participated and won several prizes in different dance formats in different colleges/institutions under the mentorship of Ms. Versha, Assistant Professsor, Coordinator for the society.
Under the able guidance of the ECA convenor Dr. Vindhyachal Mishra and directions of eminent faculty, the “Malhar” Music Society had an eventful year of activities. Malhar held auditions to enrol new members to its fold. The auditions were held by senior members of the society under the guidance of associated faculty on 12th August 2015 and several talented members were inducted under Indian Vocals, Western Vocals and Instrumentals categories. This year, the society inducted two specialist Tabla players- Indrashish and Pragun, while Kevin Stephan was inducted as a drummer cum guitarist. Vishal Patil and Md. Ataullah Raza Khan were elected to represent the Society in the ECA council on 22ndSept 2015.
While Indian vocalists Harsha and Nabila made their mark at many events, fests and seminars hosted within the college by singing the ceremonial Saraswati Vandana, Vishal Patil and Aditya Bhati provided instrumental support on the Keyboard. Bhashkar, an aspiring Flautist, also won 1st prize in PGDAV (Eve.) college in the solo instrumental category. Shekhar Soni also participated in the same for solo singing. Bhashkar participated in Lady Shri Ram College fest in the solo instrumental category and made it up to the final round. Vishal also participated in the same for the solo singing category and got selected for its final round. Bhashkar and Pragun participated in St.Stephens college festival in the duet instrumental category. A team of four students, Vishal, Shekhar, Bhashkar and Hanny of Malhar SBSEC visited the prestigious IIT Kanpur annual cultural festival, “Antaragni 2015” held between 29th Oct - 1st Nov 2015.
Bhashkar, Vishal and Pragun participated in “Vasundhara 2016”, the annual Geography Department fest of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Morning College (Feb 18-19, 2016) and won the 1st prize in acoustics. Bhashkar and Indrashish participated in the annual festival of the Department of Political Science SBSEC “Yugantar 2016” held on 24th Feb 2016. Malharians made their presence felt in organising, conducting and also participating in the Students’ Union annual cultural fest of the college “Sapratang 2016” held on 18th and 19th March 2016. On 8th April 2016, Bhashkar & Vishal won 1st prize in the talent hunt of “Tejas 2016”, the B. A. Programme annual fest of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College. The society hopes to make its presence felt in the DU circuit in the coming session with greater zeal and vigour, and win greater accolades for the college.
The members of the society visited many places in Delhi with their cameras and explored ruins of Tughlaqabad Fort, Old Fort, India Gate, Chandini Chowk, Safdarjung Tomb, etc. to give the members of society first hand practical knowledge about different dimensions of photography.
CREADOR, the Fine Arts Society of our College held its annual exhibition, ART-E-VOUS, on 8th March 2016 on the theme “OUR INDIA”. Beautiful art and craft work made by students was on display. The exhibition gave vent to imagination of students. The students used innovative and eco-friendly ways to make use of waste items. Crafts and paintings made by students like vases made from bottles, wind chimes and candle holders made from newspapers, quilled earrings and many other handicrafts were readily bought by teachers and students.
The society organised visit to National Gallery of Modern Art on 17th September 2015 and another visit to National Crafts Museum on 10th February 2016. It gave them an opportunity to learn new form of art work and other skills. The society has performed very well and won 25 prizes at various college festivals. This is a result of all the hard work they put in throughout the year and their dedication towards College. HeenaKausar, BhawnaHooda, Pooja Gupta, ShashiKumari, RishabhVerma, MayankMiglani, PriyaDass, Rahul Rohilla, MuskanAnand, MadhurikaBhargava, Gaurav Kumar won prizes at IIT Kanpur, Sri Aurobindo College, Shivaji College, ShaheedBhagat Singh College (M) and many more.
The academic session of 2015-16 was remarkably successful for NUKE- The Debating society as this year was full of laurels and achievements brought by the society. NUKE started the year with their annual auditions on 5th August 2015. It was a two-day audition in which 242 students have participated and out of them 30 were selected for the society.
Women’s Development Center under the convenorship of Dr. Anupama M. Hasija and her highly motivated team comprising of Dr. Vijaylata Tyagi, Dr. Ranjeet Kumar, Ms. Pallavi Sethi, Ms. Ankita Shree and Dr. L. Mirana Devi has been trying to bring to fore issues related to gender sensitization in the college. The centre organized many activities during the year 2015-16, to generate a consciousness for gender sensitive issues for both the sexes. The centre organised a street play named “Mard” staged by Asmita Theatre Group, on September 28, 2015. Earlier this year, a poster making competition was organised to highlight education, empowerment and violence against women on February 16, 2016. This event was a great success as huge number of students participated with vigour and enthusiasm.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College NCC unit has a complete company of 160 cadets that comes under 4 Delhi Battalion and it has set new benchmarks of achievements in various camps and competitions.
During the year 2015-16 the college NCC cadets came forward and actively participated in various camps and competitions at National and International levels. CHM Abhay Sachan represented India in foreign land to Kazakhstan under Youth Exchange Programme. SUO Vikash Pandey, JUO Lokesh Kumar and JUO Sanjeev participated in National Integration Camp, Maihar (MP). JUO Shwetank, JUO Ambarish Dash and SGT. Sachin participated in National Integration Camp, Nasik (Maharashtra).
SBSC NCC is known all across Delhi Directorate for its active participation in Republic Day Camp. LCPL Induvendra Bhaskar and CDT Aman Kumar participated in March at Rajpath on Republic Day in NCC Contingent. JUO Shwetank, CDT Vikash Naithani, CDT Deepak Singh Tadiyal, CDT Mankeshwar got selected for Amar Jawan Jyoti to pay homage to Martyrs of our country. JUO Shwetank was the commander of NCC contingents at Chief Minister Rally on15th August, 2015.
Our college NCC battalion not only makes our college proud in various camps but also in various competitions in the colleges of University of Delhi. Our cadets, again, made us proud in Lady Shri Ram College for Women NCC Fest ‘VEERANGNA’ by bagging first prize in Drill competition and second prize in Quiz Competition. In A.R.S.D College Fest ‘SANGHARSH’ our Drill Squad team as well as Quarter Guard team stood runners-up. In Dayal Singh College Fest 'PARAKRAM' our Quarter Guard team stood second. PGDAV College NCC fest 'PRABAL 16' our Squad Drill team stood first. In ‘VIJAYANT’, the Annual NCC fest of SGND College one of the prestigious and most awaited fest, our cadets’ Drill team secured second position. In Moti Lal Nehru College Annual NCC fest ‘VEERTA’ our Guard of Honour team came runners-up and our Drill Squad too stood runners up. In Indraprastha College for Women NCC fest 'VEERASTRA' our Guard team stood first. In Sri Aurbindo College fest 'HAUSLA' our Squad Drill stood second. Quarter Guard team also bagged first prize in Annual NCC fest of IP College for Women.
On Our annual NCC fest “CHUNAUTI”, Col. Sukhaman Singh of 3DGBN and Col R.K. Kalia of 4 Delhi Battalion were the Guest of Honours who praised the zeal hard work and dedication of our cadets after watching section attack, close combat battle and guard of honor followed by the cultural performances.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is now in upgrading phase and in C-block of the college already have smart classroom which include smart board, speakers and comfortable sitting for students(Ac still not there in majority of classrooms). There is one lift which is going to built up and the building is getting more height because new rooms is soon to be built.(one auditorium is also in the project but auditorium might take years to be completed)
Hostel: Shaheed Bhagat Singh evening college doesn't have any hostel but there many paying guests(pg) or flats which is available near the college so you won't have problems with accommodation. I will suggest to take flat(pg's are not good enough for comfortable and independent life)
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is v nice there is a statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji There is ( संध्या वाटिका ) huge Play ground and basket ball court and beautiful library
Hostel: There is no hospital facility available in the college . In the South campus college there is no hostel facilities but there is seperate hostel available for the students in north campus

Infrastructure: It it nice in view and their toilets are ok but it may want to rebuild i think it is mager change to do in collage and also rebuild canteen and also garden area
Hostel: hostel is nice and their food is also good in eat and water facility is also good that give water time to time and time to time wash toilet and also give highgenic food for eat
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very hygienic comparatively to the other colleges present in south campus after ARSD and Venkateshwar college. The gardeners have well maintained all gardens and the playground and also the parking area is also very clean.
Hostel: There is no hostel facility in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College. But students can find apartments, flats, pgs in nearby area of the college that is Sheikh sarai within suitable prices.
