SSCET Salem Placement cell trains the students according to the expectations of the industries from the first day. Daily two hours of training classes on Aptitude, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning sessions and one group discussion session is held. Mock interviews are also done. Leading training institutes to conduct special Communication Development Training programs once a month. Weekly once communication development training is held. A minimum of one Foreign Language (other than English) with International Certification is made compulsory for all to increase the chances of students getting placed in international companies. To improve the communication skills of the students, a well-equipped language laboratory is used. Speaking English is made compulsory for the same reason.
