Overall: Overall the experience of our college is quite good if I were to rated out of 10 stars I would rate it 7 . The college infrastructure is good the study is pretty good and also the College campus is very vast we can also explore it on holidays. The nightlife in the campus is pretty dull you can't find any person in the outside there is a well published market outside the college which is good so we can buy things also

Placement: The college provides in campus placements in be bachelor of technology but only those students who have an average CGPA greater than 7 are allowed to sit in the placement also they should have no backlog. Among the ones seated in placement not all are granted to grab a placement and the average packages nearly 4 to 5 lacs which is not enough

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best thing about our college .The buildings are very well designed . The interior as well as the exterior of all the buildings of all the branches are very well built and are clean and tidy . The infrastructure of our colleges one of the things which makes it better than 90% of other colleges

Faculty: The faculty of our college in all the branches is very well qualified they are easy to understand and can make heart topics look easy. The only negative point about the faculty is that they are not very friendly with the students and sometimes behave rudely

Hostel: The hostels of our college are very nice and tidy they are very spacious and our rooms are also very clean they have proper whitewashing the rooms are provided with almirahs fans charging ports and tables etc the only negative point about the hostel is the bathrooms which are very dirty and always stink

Overall: My overall experience in this college is above average as it is better than what i expected . Smvdu provides better placements than most of the colleges in jammu and kashmir and it has bigger campus than most of the university in jammu

Placement: In smvdu only students with no backlog and cgpa above 7 are allowed to sit in campus placement. Only 30-40% students get placement in college. The highest package in civil engineering is 24 lakh and average package is 6 lakh per annum

Infrastructure: Smvdu infrastructure is average as it has older buildings of departments.Sports infrastructure is very good as it contain cricket, football ground. College has its own library which is very big and clean.

Faculty: Smvdu's faculty is well educated and most of them are phd graduate from iit. They are very friendly with students and help them in their doubt solving. Teaching method is old i.e on whiteboards and ppt

Hostel: Hostel's room are very big and comfortable. But the washrooms are so dirty that even animal can't go there and the mess food is also very bad with no hygiene.

Overall: This is one of the underrated university in India most people don't know about it. It's environment is cool among seniors and professer. Here many clubs exists . They organise many tech related and culture related events at regular intervals.

Placement: Here the placement are not quite high but the avg. is something like 5-6 lpa . 10-12 student get the placement above 12 lpa . Here the top recruiting companies are TCS vi ,Wipro, Accenture,Infosys, Mahindra,Aditya Birla group,adani limited etc.

Infrastructure: Here infrastructure is very good as it is established in 1999 . It has very large campus in 474 acre .it has many indoor stadium and one big outdoor cricket and football stadium may basketball and volleyball courts in the hostel many badminton court and and big auditorium with capacity of 3 thousand seats and modern labs and classroom etc.

Faculty: Here the faculty is much helpful to students in every project as well the class related and life related doubt. They are very much experienced and knowledgeable in their fields .they provide good assists in in project and labs to students.

Hostel: Here in smvdu there are 5 boys and 2 girls hostel. Hostel are alloted year wise here . Hostel 2 seater rooms are alloted to first year student and here there are very big rooms with 2 beds and big personal almirah and study tables here mess food quality is good.

Overall: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra is the best university as they have the great infrastructure, good faculty, great hostels , very nice placements . I get to explore knowledge and new activities like :- demonstrative workshops, competitions, fests , etc.

Placement: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra provides great placements . Their esteemed recruiters are - Jio , Infosys , TATA , Samsung, etc . In the year 2022-23 the students placed in Infosys were 11 in 2021-22 were 59 and many more for different-different recruiters.

Infrastructure: The college have great infrastructure it have well developed classrooms with advanced laboratories with proper equipments . Proper transportation facilities, good education system.

Faculty: I like the faculty. The teacher-student relationship is great. The teachers are very friendly so many of my doubts are cleared. I feel like it's the best environment to study . The faculty helps in competition of competitive exams.

Hostel: Hostel of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra is really good. The girls hostel is very far from boys hostel because of which parents are fear-free . The hostel gate closes at 8 pm and girls are safe at night . Warden is very friendly because of which ragging doesn't occur. Mess food is also good.

Overall: Overall rating of this college is average according to me because this college doesn't provide good opportunities, good equipments, good environment for study. Here is no competative feeling. I'd say it's an average college.

Placement: When it comes to placements this college has a poor placement history over past years. Barely 40-50% of the students get placed from this college through on campus placements. And the student those who are getting placement through on campus placements recieve a very low package around 5-6 Lakhs PA. On campus Placement is not good here. But students are getting amazing package through off campus placements from this college. Special students of Electronics and Communication are cracking a handsome amount paying placement in off campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is decent according to me. Classrooms are good but it can be better. Project facilities in classroom should be improved and classrooms should be equipped with more advanced technologies and facilities.

Faculty: The facilities in this college are good and they are good in their field. Most of the professor are P.hd qualified and they have a deep knowledge in their domain. Teaching style and techniques of some professors are awesome but some professors are I would say below average when it comes to explain the topic. Overall I'll say faculties are good.

Hostel: Hostel infrastructure is decent and satisfactory in some hostels but some hostels has below average infrastructure. Walls have cracks. Water leakage problem in washroom, urinals have leakage, lift doesn't works in my hostel. Along with this the food quality in mess is pathetic. You can't eat the food if you have never lived in any hostel before. Water coolers are not fitted with purification mechanism. Hence Water quality is also very bad.

Overall: A great college with good campus and a decent faculty but the fest are very less they are more focused on academic section.!! One should give his/her best to get on campus placement off campus placements from our college are impressive considering my branch electronics they are better compared to cse!! Need to improve there fest and extra things of college

Placement: Placements of the college is average its not like that companies do not come here company do come but one have to work hard to get a job stats of on campus are decent and off campus are impressive especially from the branch cse and electronics

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good aesthetics of the college are very good if you are from another state then the campus will give you a good vibe to study and will give peace to your eyes:)

Faculty: Some teachers are impressive and some are average one will find a faculty in tier 3 college good some will find it bad but teachers cope rate very well and helps students everything they can provide with but some are exceptional

Hostel: Considering the hostel the rooms are good and the mess food is average but in hostels like Vidhya chal mess food is better and in 1st year hostel the mess food is worst
