Shyam Lal College (evening) of Delhi University has a beautiful lush green campus that attracts the students. Its soothing view is a sight to sour eyes. Students of SLC (evening) are always either studying or indulge in extra-curricular activities. Not only does this college have a beautiful campus but also provides its students with a plethora of facilities.

Students of Shyam Lal College, New Delhi can never run short of books to read because the college library has up to 50,000 titles to its name along with the subscription to more than 20 journals and magazines covering the syllabus of all the courses offered in the college. It is also subscribed to newspapers in Hindi and English. The library is fully air-conditioned as well as computerized and the students have been provided easy access to the computerized data. In order to cater to banking facilities, SLC has a branch of the Central Bank Of India along with an ATM in its premises.

The fully air-conditioned and spacious canteen of SLC provides refreshments to students at its best. The sportspersons of Shyam Lal College have been performing very well in their respective sports due to the great sports facilities (both indoor and outdoor) provided by the College. The college provides the facility for Cricket, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton, Football, Handball, Table Tennis and for Athletics.

SLC has a Gandhi Study Circle which is affiliated to Gandhi Bhawan of Delhi University that aims at popularizing Gandhi’s thoughts and philosophy among students. Shyam Lal College (evening) of Delhi University has a number of academic societies and clubs that focus on the overall development of the students. The college does not provide any hostel facility.
