Dear Student,

With a UG degree, you can apply for admission to 3-year LLB course instead of the 5-year BA LLB degree at Shyambazar Law College, Kolkata because BA LLB itself is an undergraduate integrated law degree. For LLB admission after completing your bachelor’s degree in 2025, you need to apply using your provisional marksheet and certificate which must be from a recognised university in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. However, at the time of the counselling process, you will need to provide your original marksheets and certificates. Moreover, to get admission into LLB, most of the popular institutions accept national or state or entrance exam scores. There are some institutions that conduct their own law entrance exams, which you need to qualify to get admission. Moreover, there are many private institutions as well that offer direct admission to the LLB course like Amity University Noida, Jindal Global University Sonipat, Manav Rana University Faridabad etc.

Dear Student,

The Shyambazar Law College courses list includes a five-year BA LLB programme in affiliation with Calcutta University. Students who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board may apply for this programme. There is no entrance test for this programme. Shyambazar Law College prepares a merit list for this programme based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12. The cutoff for 2023 has not been released yet by the college. You may keep an eye on our page for the latest updates on admissions 2023.
