About Sikkim Professional University
Sikkim Professional University is a private college established in 2008. The university has received approval from UGC. Sikkim Professional University, or SPU, is located at Metro Point, Tadong, East Sikkim, and Budang, Soreng, West Sikkim. A total of 15 undergraduate courses, 11 postgraduate and 3 diploma courses are offered by the SPU. The college provides a wide range of courses for students, the popular ones include BSc, BBA, LLB, BCom, BA, BPT, MBA, MSc, BPharm, BNursing, DPharm, etc. In the BSc course, students can find specializations in Microbiology, EVS, Biotechnology, and agriculture. Similarly, for BA the College offers degrees in Geography, Tourism and English. Sikkim Professional University considers the merit of Class 12 results for students applying to their undergraduate and diploma courses. The minimum requirement for admission is a 45% score. For postgraduate courses, candidates who hold a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.
