With a KCET rank of 42000, it is difficult to predict with certainty if you will be offered a place in the SJCE Mysore CSE programme. In SJCE Mysore, the cutoff for the CSE engineering programme in 2022 was 39791. However, given the rise in applicants, the threshold is probably going to be higher in 2023. To get a sense of the pattern, you can look up the cutoff for CSE engineering at SJCE Mysore in past years. In recent years, the cutoff has continually risen. The cutoff was 38421 in 2021. The SJCE Mysore cutoff was 36744 in 2020. You should submit an application for the second round of KCET counselling if you are serious about getting a place in the CSE programme at SJCE Mysore. The cutoff is usually lower in the second round. You should also consider applying to other colleges that offer CSE specialisation.
Dear student, No, SJCE is not available for computer science and engineering with a KCET rank of 2290. The closing rank for CSE at SJCE in 2021 was 1900. This means that you would need to score a rank of at least 1900 in the KCET 2023 to get a seat in CSE at SJCE. The highest closing rank for CSE at SJCE in the past 5 years is 1400 (2020). This means that it is very competitive to get a seat in CSE at SJCE. If you are serious about studying CSE at SJCE, I would recommend that you start preparing for the KCET 2023 as early as possible. You can also consider taking a drop year if you are not satisfied with your KCET rank.
