SNDT Women's University Admission 2025 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

The SNDT Women's University was established in 1916. In a wide range of disciplines, the university offers a large number of undergraduate, postgraduate, PG Diploma, PhD, certificate, and distance education programmes. The university's division for distance learning was started in 1979. The primary goal of the ‘Centre for Distance Education (CDE)’ was to support online learning in higher education.

In order to empower female students, SNDT Women's University Puneoffers a variety of bachelor's, master's, PG Diploma, and certificate programmes. Students may use the SNDT University CDE to submit an online application for any distance learning programme. For some undergraduate and graduate programmes, students must take the University Entrance Test (UET) in addition to meeting the course-specific eligibility requirements. The entire application process for SNDT Women's University is done online and the university uses various selection criteria for various courses. Only those who have submitted an application are eligible for admission. The application form is on the website of SNDT University Pune. It can be found in the menu bar's admissions section. The steps listed below must be followed by applicants in order to complete the SNDT Women's University application form.

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the SNDT Women's University's official website at https://sndt.ac.in/.
• Candidates must visit the website's ‘Online Admissions’ section.
• To apply online to SNDT Women's University Pune, candidates must visit the admissions portal and choose that option.
• A ‘Registration’ button will appear, click on it.
• Fill out the registration form with the candidate's name, father's name, date of birth, mother's name, email address, and mobile number.
• Once you've filled out all the fields, click the ‘Click here for disclaimer’ button.
• Click ‘Agree’ after reading and acknowledging the declaration.
• Candidates must register first by clicking the ‘Register’ button. They will receive a login and one-time password via email and text message to the registered email address and mobile phone number.

Step 2: Document uploading

• After entering your login and password, set a new one.
• Select the ‘Login’ tab.
• The screen will show a dashboard.
• Upload a passport-sized photo, your signature along with other necessary documents in the format required.

Step 3: Application Form Filling

• Complete the fields for reservations, education, personal information, nationality, contacts, and addresses on the application.
• Click ‘Confirm profile and apply online’ after verifying all of your information.

Step 4: Course and College Selection

• Select the programme for which you want to apply.
• Click ‘Apply online’ after reading the eligibility requirements.
• Choose the college (SNDT University) to which you want to submit an admissions application.
• Candidates must now select a method of study (online/ offline).
• Additionally, they have the choice of choosing subjects for the subsequent semester.

Step 5: Fee Payment

• Pay your application fee.
• Print the application form.
• However, the eSuvidha ticket is available in pdf format you may print it for your records.

• Graduate in any discipline from any faculty of this university or any other recognised university as equivalent thereto.
• A candidate for being eligible for admission to MA English will have to pass an English proficiency test.

The candidate desirous of getting admission to M.Com should have passed B.Com/ BMS/ BBA examination of this university or another recognised university. 

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes:
(i) B.Ed
(ii)BA B.Ed/B.Sc B.Ed
(ii) B.El.Ed
(iii) D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each)

• Minimum 45% per cent or B grade for students with B.Sc Resource Management, B.Sc Home Management, B.Sc Family Resource Management, B.Sc Home Economics, B.Sc General  Home Science, BS.c Composite Home Science, B.Sc Family and Community Sciences.

• Minimum 50% or B grade for students with B.Sc Physiology, B.Sc Life Sciences, B.Sc Biology.

A professional LLB or equivalent degree recognised by the Bar Council of India.

A graduate in any discipline with 50% marks at graduation for the open category and 45% for the reserved category from an Indian university recognised by AIU.
 

As per DTE norms and MAH-MCA-CET score.

Graduate in any discipline from any faculty of any recognised university. 

• B.E./B.Tech.in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Instrumentation.

• Four years Engineering/Technology degree programme from AICTE approved Institute,

The candidate should be an Indian National and who possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from any AICTE approved institution, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of SC/ST category and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to  Maharashtra State only)

A valid score of centralized Management Academic Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and any other procedure prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of Maharashtra. 

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year programme leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination conducted by recognised boards.

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year programme leading to the degree of Bachelor of Commerce must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination conducted by recognised boards.

A candidate passing the Graduation in any stream conducted by any recognised university, institution, or board, with a minimum of 45% marks as prescribed by the Bar Council of India.

OR

Any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai or any other recognized university with the minimum prescribed marks of 45% as laid down by the Bar Council of India is eligible for admission to the first year of the course.

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year programme leading to the degree of Bachelor of Management Studies must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination conducted by recognised boards.

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination conducted by recognised boards.

• For admission to first year B. Pharm, a candidate should be an Indian national and should have passed the Class 12 examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject and secured minimum 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category and persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together.
• For Admission directly to second year B. Pharm through Lateral Entry, the candidate should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Non-Creamy Layer OBC/Non-Creamy Layer SBC candidates of Maharashtra). The marks obtained to award the division in Diploma/Degree will be considered for deciding the eligibility and respective merit. 

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year programme leading to the degree of Bachelor of Social Work must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination conducted by recognised boards.

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Computer Applications must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination conducted by recognised boards with 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved category).

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) degree programme of this university must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Class 12) examination of recognised boards or its equivalent examination in science stream with 50% marks in aggregate.

A candidate must pass their graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
