As per the timeline, the TS LAWCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 3, 2024. The hall ticket contains details regarding the exam day for candidates' reference. All candidates shall download the hall tickets online, as they will not be available offline via post. The admit cards are to be downloaded and printed, to be carried along on the exam day with an ID proof for verification purposes. I dont have any clue of the Calcutta colleges, but I can surely tell you about LPUs LLB program. The Law Department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to the NIRF ranking, the Law School is ranked 24th. The vision of the school is studying by books is not a rule of Law. The course aims at preparing the students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Creation of well-trained and dedicated professionals in the legal framework. It also aims at nurturing a graduate with in-depth knowledge of different aspects of laws comprising civil, criminal, taxation, and international laws and ensuring conceptual clarity for judicial services aspirants. Law students are prepared to spot legal issues from a set of hypothetical facts and brainstorm various legal consequences, to be perfect legal professionals. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognized Law School at Lovely Professional University among the top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals. Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Graduation (any stream) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or LSAT. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. For SC ST applicants there is 5 percent relaxation while there is 3 percent relaxation for the OBC candidates. The admission process of the University of Calcutta (CU) has been postponed for the academic year 2020-21 due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country. CU has also decided that it will not conduct the entrance exam this year for shortlisting candidates for its various programmes. The admission to law programmes at CU, including the integrated law course of BA LLB, will be done on the basis of merit.

The application process of Calcutta University for 2020 had been extended till August 14, 2020. The merit list is declared a few weeks after the applications are closed. Hence, the merit list of Calcutta University for South Calcutta Law College admissions for the academic session 2020-21 is expected to be out soon. You should keep checking the official website or CollegeDekho to know when the merit list is out.
