The College grants free & half-free studentship annually to a limited number of students. The concession made strictly on the basis of merit-cum-poverty. Following guidelines have been framed for award of Free/Half-Free studentship :
a) For award of free & half-free studentship 45% marks must be obtained in the last examination.
b) Guardians income should not exceed Rs. 24,000/- per annum.
c) 5% relaxation in marks will be given to girl students and students whose guardians income do not exceed Rs. 12,000/- per annum.
d) 50% of attendance in respective classes in must.
There is provision of various types of Scholarships and stipends from the Government of West Bengal to provide financial aid to the SC/ST students, Ward of Biri Shramik (Labour Welfare), OBC students, students belonging to Minority Communities, Physically handicapped students (for General category), Education Scholarship from DPI,WB.
Application for students aid fund shall be made separately and aid will be given to those students only whose guardian?s income do not exceed Rs. 30,000/ per annum.
