TNEA Round 1 tentative allotment is now available on tneaonline.org for candidates with ranks between 1 and 39145. Candidates must confirm their allotted seats by July 18. The official allotment letters will be issued on July 19, 2025.
TANCET 2025 rank list has been released on tn-mbamca.com for MBA and MCA admissions. Candidates whose names are in the TANCET 2025 rank list are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Choice filling for TANCET 2025 MCA counselling will be done from July 24 to July 26, 2025, and the seat allotment result will be released on July 29, 2025. For TANCET 2025 MBA counselling, choice filling will be done from July 29 to August 1, 2025, and the seat allotment result will be released on August 2, 2025.
TNEA 2025 Round 1 counselling has started for candidates with ranks 1 to 39,145. The last day for choice filling is July 16, 2025.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has released the tentative seat allotment for TNEA 2025 under the Government Special Reservation category. Candidates are required to log in to tneaonline.org with their credentials and confirm their seat allotment by 5 PM on July 8, 2025. The allotments are made based on candidates’ TNEA ranks and the choices they submitted.
TNEA 2025 online counselling for Government special reservation (Differently Abled, Ex-Servicemen, Sports) is from July 7–8. General special reservation counselling for the same categories will be held from July 9–11. General counselling will be conducted from July 14 to August 19, 2025, in multiple rounds based on rank and category.
The rank list for MBA and MCA programs from the TANCET 2025 will be published on July 14, 2025. The grievance redressal period will take place from July 15–18, 2025. Counselling is conducted in a three-step process, with online registration, choice filling, and seat allotment based on merit, category, and availability. Candidates must apply on tn-mbamca.com and will need to bring along their scorecards.

The maximum age limit of the candidate must be 21 as of July of the current year.

In order to be eligible for the Master of Engineering (ME) course offered by Sri Ramanujar Engineering College (SREC), Chennai, candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria. The degree has specialisations like Computer Aided Design, Computer Design and VLSI Design.
For candidates interested in ME in Computer Aided Design, they must have completed BE in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automobile or Production from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
For candidates interested in ME in Computer Science or VLSI Design, they must have qualified B.E in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)/ Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)/Electrics and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or B.Tech in Information Technology from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
All the SREC ME aspirants will be selected on the basis of the marks scored in the qualifying exam. Following so, the college will conduct a round of counselling.
Candidates applying for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course, one must be meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
Must have passed any Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline from any recognized Educational Institution/University.
Must have obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate in graduation.
MBA aspirants will be selected on the basis of their scores obtained in management entrance exams like MAT and CAT which conducted at the national level. Post that, a round of Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted.
